Pennypot Dental Ashford

Received no contact from them for two years only to be told I was kicked off of their list for not needing an appointment for over two years. Would happily see me in two days time as a private patient but had no space for me as an NHS patient despite being with them as one for several years prior. £53 for a check up appointment which was delayed, no parking spaces available and the barrier to the carpark wouldn't open anyway so I couldn't get in and had to park elsewhere to pay. When I told them this at reception (nobody was answering the phone despite three receptionists at the desk when I walked in a few minutes later) they asked which barrier and then told me to take a seat, no apology or concern for any of this. Not worth private prices and I'll be going elsewhere ASAP. One of the most expensive in Ashford and service doesn't match their prices in the slightest.

We went to see Gareth in November 2022 for an assessment. My daughter had gaps between her teeth and an overbite. Gareth immediately put us at ease and explained the options on braces to close the gaps and correct the overbite as much as possible. My daughter had her brace fitted in February 2023 and has just had it removed (end of September 2023) to reveal perfect straight teeth. Gareth has a great sense of humour which made Annabel relax and not worry and Carly and Emma are very calm and lovely. A big thank you to Gareth, Carly, Emma and the team at Pennypot Dental Ashford.

I recently attended a hygienist appointment with Janine at Pennypot Dental Ashford, and as ever, Janine's level of care and utter professionalism put me at ease straight away.She began by gently looking at which areas needed more attention than others and explained every step as she went along. I found the whole process completely relaxing, with Janine checking I was ok frequently.The result is, as usual, fantastic. My teeth feel amazingly clean and look great. I cannot recommend Janine enough for her kind, reassuring manner and excellent service. I have already booked back in for six months.Thank you Janine!

Absolutely brilliant experience with Gareth and Carly. In the planning, Gareth was really sensitive to what would be least intrusive for my daughter while still reaching the desired result. He was always on the end of an email and spent time making sure we understood what was happening at every stage. I would highly recommend.

I completed a course of treatment today to have a crown fitted to a back tooth and earlier this year had a molar extracted. Both treatments were performed with great care by my dentist and nurse with everything explained carefully so that I fully understood the need for the treatment and how it would be carried out. I am very pleased with the results of the treatment and have confidence in my dentist and nurse. Thank you for looking after me so well.

Lovely dentists and helpful reception. Everyone is always very friendly and professional. It would be five stars but I do not like the pre-visit questionnaire each time which appears to be largely focused on selling cosmetic procedures.

I have never felt so comfortable and listened to at a practice. The staff are all amazing and have eased my anxiety about the dentist by 100% ten stars!

I wanted to thank Dr Anika Patel for the excellent service she provided. I came in for one of the emergency sit and wait" appointments after chipping a tooth the night before

I had root canal treatment and was seen by Dr Anika Patel who is a first class and highly skilled dentist she explained everything in detail and answered my concerns. The treatment went well and pain free , I would certainly recommend this practice and Dr Patel , it is a very modern dental surgery and all the staff are extremely pleasant

Had a very pleasant experience today with my hygienist Janine, as always. I'm a nervous patient & she never fails to put me at ease straight away and is very gentle and informative. The best person I've ever dealt with regarding my teeth.The receptionist I saw was also ( I didn't get her name ) but she was a friendly face.I did have a rocky start regarding a dentist when I first joined but this has since been rectified and as of recent I can not fault this practice and would recommend.
