Sam did a fantastic job when we needed her, despite the freezing weather at the time. The issue with our garden door turned out to be more complex than anticipated, but she was not put off by the challenge and gave it her all to fix the problem quickly and effectively. She was always honest about pricing, very punctual, quick to reply and reliable. I would definitely recommend her!

I have used Sam’s services for many years both for emergencies as well as lock replacements. Sam is prompt, courteous and her work is immaculate. Her charges are very reasonable and she is a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn’t use any other locksmith.

I cannot recommend Sam highly enough. The service she delivers is outstanding not to mention the peace of mind she provided when I felt safe in my home again. When I left my home I closed the door with the key and when I took the key out of the lock only part of the key came away, the rest was firmly embedded in the lock. I had no way to lock the door (without locking myself out) so I couldn’t really leave my home. Sam came out on time and calmly and swiftly removed the key from the lock. Great value for money, prompt and efficient service all delivered with a smile. Perfect.

Three years ago, Sam from Trusted Locksmiths changed my old door locks for more secure ones. The work was done efficiently and for a fair price, and I found Sam to be very friendly and pleasant. She was, in fact, willing to go the extra mile; she made minor repairs to my patio doors/French windows at no extra charge.Recently, I was locked out of my house and, unfortunately, Sam was unable to come round to open the front door. However, she did her best to help me to find someone else who could. She asked good questions, advised on the price I should be charged and whether there would be damage to the door. In other words, she ensured that I didn't get ripped off by another trader. I did find another trader who did the job for around the price Sam advised. Sam is friendly, courteous, kind and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending Trusted Locksmiths, Chingford.

Trusted Locksmiths came to replace my old back door handles and locks (completed pictures attached) and what a fantastic job. Samantha couldn't have been more helpful, she even replaced the springs inside the door for me. Nothing was too much trouble! Polite, helpful and great value for money.

Sam was amazing. She spoke to me outside of working hours, she was professional, prompt and did an excellent job for me. I found her on “Walthamstow Recommends” on FB where she was highly recommended and after meeting her I could see why. Honest, professional, and reliable, what more could you want? Unfortunately, I was left disappointed by the service.Having contacted Sam and sent her a video of the issue, she advised that she could come out to adjust/realign the lock. Once she had done so and the issue was not resolved, she said that had she heard the audio on the video I’d sent, she would have known the issue was with the lock itself. The result is that I needed a new lock, but as it was out of stock, she would have to come back to fit it meaning another labour charge.Sam didn’t offer to reduce the cost of the labour charge for that day, or for the subsequent visit that would now be required, so I said that I would first ring around to compare quotes for the part, and see if anywhere had one available. Sam later explained that she felt dismissed as a result of this and that is why she charged the full labour charge; however, I was simply making sure that the quote was fair given that there was no gesture of good will/offer of a reduction to the subsequent cost in light of the situation and what I view as an error on her part. As it turned out, I managed to find the part locally and was advised that it would be simple to fit myself, so I did so.I then went back to Sam to express my dissatisfaction at the cost given that she said she could have told me the lock was the issue had she known what I’d said in the initial video. Sam justified the cost as she would have tried to fix it by realigning it first regardless of whether she believed the lock was the issue. This is the crux of the disagreement, I think, as I believe that had she known that the lock was the issue or suspected so, and known that the part was out of stock, she should have been up front about that rather than charging two labour charges as a result of having to come once to diagnose and again to fix. So it seems to me that, because Sam didn’t listen to the video, I had to pay what would be an extra labour charge should I have had her come back.In light of all of the above, I suggested that a fairer outcome might be for me to pay half the labour charge. Sam did offer to take half the labour charge off the cost of fitting the new lock but as I’ve now done that myself, that’s not a viable resolution.I’ve done my best to represent the facts in this review but of course Sam interprets them differently and therefore we’ve not come to a resolution. As a result, whilst Sam is friendly and knowledgeable, I’m left feeling out of pocket and sadly can’t recommend the service.

I've used trusted locksmiths twice and would strongly recommend to anyone. Samantha fitted new locks to my front (latch and mortice) and back doors and back garden gate. All very different locks, fitted professionally. Samantha was great to work with, responsive and flexible. She came out at a convenient time at short notice.

Sam changed all our locks after moving into our new home. She took care and time to get the job done right, especially when it came to changing locks from the 70s on our internal front door. She originally quoted an hour but the job ended up going over time but she didn't change the price she originally agreed. Very good value for money.
