Herts & Essex Fertility Centre

After 2 failed rounds of IVF and many years of heartbreak we began our journey with Herts and Essex Fertility in September 2021. Our whole experience was made easier by the incredible team and every nurse and doctor we had appointments with helped keep our dream alive. I got pregnant with our rainbow baby in November. He is now 3 months old and we are so in love. We would recommend Herts and Essex to anyone struggling to start their family and we will be back for Charlie's little brother or sister one day!

The clinic was ok, didn't seem to take my wife's needs into consideration. They made a few mistakes, specially when taking her bloods at the wrong time or during another procedure. Every time we had an appointment, once we finished I was marched to the finance window and made to pay there and then, with no option to pay within 5 working days! To me it seemed is that all they wanted was money! Their communication to your was hit and miss (either by email or phone). We ended up go to another fertility clinic and we are so glad we did, best decision we made!!!

Around one year ago, my partner and I decided to embark on our IVF journey. We were recommended herts and Essex fertility by a friend of mine from work.We were contacted and had our initial consultation quickly and was made to feel so at ease and every step was explained in such intricate detail, but was also not overwhelming to us.We began our treatment in the summer and as tough as it was physically times, the team at herts and Essex were always on the other end of a phone line/email to support us if need be.Everyone we encountered at the clinic was always friendly and made us feel completely at ease from day 1.On the 29th March 2023 our family was completed and we welcomed baby Albie into the world.We just want to thank everyone for your help and support over the last year.

Herts and Essex fertility centre are absolutely amazing and would highly recommend them. We went to them after 3 failed cycles at another clinic and we wanted to be supported through our journey and try new things which our other clinic did not support. From the moment we stepped in to the clinic we were made to feel welcome and supported. They made our dream come true and our little boy arrived this year through my amazing little sister donating her eggs. They made me feel like nothing was a problem and helped me get through the early part of pregnancy. All the staff are brilliant but I have to say Michael and David are absolutely amazing in making sure they looked at all aspects for our treatment plans to make sure we had the best chance. The patient app is also really good for you in keeping in touch with them and your treatment plans. We look forward to coming back to you again next year.

I’ve used a few different fertility clinics over the years for my surrogacy journey, but Herts & Essex is by far the best! So caring and friendly, and always know your name and what you’re going through. Each staff member treats you as family, not a number or statistic! So welcoming from the moment you set foot inside. Three successful journeys completed here for surrogacy and known egg donation, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I came in recently for a follow up check on my fertility after an initial appointment (also at Herts & Essex) a few years ago. Both visits were faultless. All the staff I met were incredibly helpful and professional. I really appreciated the detailed consultation following the appointment. They provided helpful advice on steps I could take to improve my fertility. I returned 3 years later for some updated results. Again, I was given a clear overview of the different factors that are measured, which was helpful as I had forgotten since my last appointment. They were very happy to answer all my questions and I was really grateful for the time they spent speaking with me. I would thoroughly recommend their services.

The team at HEFC always pitched perfectly their kindness and care- from all teams, not just the nurses and doctors but the administrators and finance team- everyone. They were incredibly responsive whenever we had any concerns, and their professionalism and expertise helped put us at ease and feel that we were in the best possible hands. As part of some ongoing investigation work i was required to get a male fertility test completed. I struggled to get a NHS appointment that was going to suit my needs with both hospitals being nearly an hour+ away and you only being allowed to delivery the sample within an hour of it being produced. There was also going to be a 7 week wait. A few people had recommended the Herts and Essex Fertility clinic and I thought it would be worth ringing them to see if I could speed the process up and go private. Have to stay from the first phone call to getting the results it was an extremely easy process. I'm glad I spent the money to get the sample testing carried out privately. It saved me loads of waiting and they were far more flexible than the hospital appointments.
