We were given a voucher for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Lovely cafe. Amazing sandwiches. Great service and high quality food and superb cakes. Highly recommend

What a fantastic looking cafe tucked off the main road in a lovely location. It's open to all and I would recommend popping in, it's very clean and bright, with lovely decor and bits of artwork on the walls.Loads of space down stairs and it has an upstairs.Staff are friendly and really keen to help.A good (and I hear with plans to grow) selection of food and drink.The food was absolutely lovely, great quality and the coleslaw was a great extra and I think home made!

Excellent cafe. Came here whilst waiting for my car in a garage nearby.The cakes were amazing and the staff really friendly.Will be coming back here to try more of the menu for sure.

Nice coffee. They had decaf and dairy alternatives for milk. They had gluten free bread and a gluten free cake. Freshly made food and very friendly, helpful service.Nice quiet area to sit on the patio at the back and free, off-street parking.

Took my elderly parents for afternoon tea for their 65th wedding anniversary. There was much forward planning by Roxanne and her team to ensure everything was perfect especially for my mother who faces many challenges. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the whole experience was one to treasure.Thank you Cafe 1850!

Visited for the 1st time, lovely friendly staff, plenty of seating also upstairs. Food and coffee were both good. I had cheese and ham panini and friend had cake. Worth a visit.

I found this place whilst on a trip to Northampton and I’m so glad I did! I booked my daughter onto breakfast with Santa and she had the greatest time! The buffet breakfast was exceptional, fantastic choice of pastries, hot breakfast, cereal and fruits. The children’s entertainment was 1st class and really made the atmosphere for all the families magical. The staff were happy and friendly all getting into the Christmas spirit. I even asked if I could book on again next year and make the 250 mile trip from up north just for this occasion as my daughter loved it that much! Huge thank you to all involved!

Had a great lunch at Cafe 1850 today. Really delicious coffee that was hot, strong and really tasty, beans come from local roaster Yellow Bourbon coffee. My sandwich, which was from the new festive menu, was delicious, Brie and bacon with chili jam.The service was friendly and fast and the cafe was clean, comfortable and cosy and warm. Oh and it smelled delicious when we walked in and had a great range of cakes on offer.Add to that a book swapping library and who could ask for more!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
