Best student bar in town, expected as it's run by the student union. They do a killer vegan burger which will make your taste buds run wild. Lovely atmosphere, can get noisy (But it's a student bar so that's going to be expected) Worth a visit if you're a student looking for a drink.

Pretty poor customer service. The burger we ordered arrived quickly and my partner enjoyed it, however they forgot my margarita pizza and it took an extra 30/40 minutes to come out and we had to ask about it. In the meantime, others were receiving their food. I enjoyed my raspberry smoothie, but I really didn’t like the pizza. It was absolutely loaded with tomato sauce, so much so that you couldn’t even taste anything else. Even half of the amount would have been too much. For the price I paid, we could have gone to many other places which would have cost less and had better quality service and food. I paid £21.40 for a margarita pizza, a burger, an orange juice with lemonade and a smoothie. I don’t recommend and won’t be coming back unfortunately :((

Very good atmosphere. TV music on during the day, live sports in the evening. Food is a good standard with very reasonable prices.

Music is too loud for a bar that wants to serve food. It’s all fine to turn up the volume later into the evening but the girl working at the till misheard my order and ended up not putting through the correct order. I was missing an item and my burger was wrong. I also ordered a hot chocolate and wasn’t told I needed to wait at the bar for it as I thought they would bring it to me with my food and I only got it after I went to ask why it didn’t come with my food. They then told me it is at the bar ready for me and by that time it was a cold drink. Come here for a pint but don’t expect good service when it comes to anything else.

Bar staff were friendly and two out three were very efficient. Unusual choice of drinks that changes on a regular basis and the prices are cheap for most draughts. I am told that the food is usually very good, but my experience included waiting 35 mins for a burger and having to enquire about and finally received two burnt burgers. Hence, the loss of one star, but I will visit again.

Came in for the vegan burgers, chips and vegan Mac and cheese.The burger patties were extremely dry and bland. The fakon back add-on to the burger was just as dry and bland. If it wasn't for the addition of BBQ sauce it would have been like eating cardboard, in texture and flavour. The Mac and cheese tasted like plain pasta. The cheese sauce was tasteless and the pasta had a playdough texture. Very disappointed. The fries were the best bit, but even they were cold.

The burgers are amazing value for money compared to some of the other eateries in the area. Whilst you can find cheaper, the price, quality, and quantity here is well balanced. Some items on the menu do seem over priced - such as topped chips and side buckets. If you like burgers, they have a big selection to choose from here and they are the best item on the menu. Other complaints could also be that tables never really feel super clean, and the wait times are sometimes a bit excessive. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and this is a very convenient place to grab lunch if you're a student.
