Service was very good. Prompt and friendly. Atmosphere typical. Nothing exceptional, but spacious and comfortable. Food was okay. Steak was a bit tough, but chicken double stack was very tasty. Surprised when a pub/restaurant had a coffee machine, but no milk or cream. (?)Edit: Owner response says milk machine, but server told me they had none. Would've been nice not having to pour coffee I paid for down the drain. Still, would go again. Appreciate the follow comments.

We tried to get dinner as a walk-in, and the woman at the bar rudely stated that without a reservation we could not eat there. I should have known better at that point to go back but decided to try again, regretfully.The following night, we made a reservation and arrived early. We were seated at our table and sat there for 30 minutes before noticing a qr code to scan on the table to order our food and drinks. Had that been the only way to order, it would have been nice to be informed of that when we were seated.Once we placed our order through the link, we waited 30 more minutes before getting any appetizers. After completely finishing any appetizers, we were asked if we were ready for main dishes, which took an additional 20 minutes. We were never asked how any of our food was. We had to track down waiters for any questions.We were billed incorrectly, and upon realization, we were offered items in their place rather than refunding the cost.My main dish was bland, the salt shaker on our table didn't work. Onion rings were soggy.We finished our food and left with no words from anyone after our main dishes were given to us.I am very disappointed in the food and service. Overall 1 star, because I have to. The appetizers were the only thing enjoyable from the food.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips , it was probably one of the few places that does not do beer-batter fried fish that is not Halal for Muslim customersIt is family-friendly.The staff was really nice and accomodating

Really nice looking pub & restaurant, with a really good menu. Staff were really nice and friendly.Food was okay - we were really hungry so went for main and dessert. Chips were a bit cold but the meat was nice.Service was slow but they were busy and I don't think they had a lot of staff working.

When i enter, i so traditional scottish atmosphere. Curtains, carpets, chairs and walls was with tartan elements.Before my visit, i checked menu in Google but when i come it is was completely different.80% meals was spicy with chilli and jalapeno.The Big question, how often the menu are change?I sad down opposite sunny window and i ordered Sweet potato fries, Baked vegetable lasagne served with small salad and Coffee latte.Coffee latte was medium (too much milk and less coffee, i felt like i drinking just milk).Sweet potato fries was tasty.Vegetable lasagne was burned. I started try it and waitress come to me with question, do i like everything? I showed how much it is burned, so she got it back and i waited for new one. When i have got new one it is was the same burned but less. I started eat it. I have to say here, even though it was burnt again, the taste was excellent. I threw away the burnt and ate everything to the last drop.Nice scottish atmosphere, kind barmen and waitress but for food i can not give more then 3 stars.I like this place, i will back.SECOND VISIT.I was today second time and sadly i have to downgrade from 3 stars to 1 star.I ordered - Crispy coated halloumi fries, Onion rings and Cheddar mac & cheese served with garlic butter bread.In menu halloumi fries are served with garlic mayonnaise dip but i have got with hot chilli dip. I showed it is waiter and he change it. Second, it is price. For 5 not big halloumi fries and some of mayonnaise i have paid 4.79£! This is a robbery in broad daylight. And it is was not tasty. So for what this price?Onion rings was tasty but they was dirty. Onion rings was with small black pieces after frying pan and i sited and cleaned it.And last, simple pasta with cheese was the same burned. Was not tasty. Pot was too warm and waiter did not inform me about it.In conclusion, this may be a good place to relax with a glass of cold beer, but not for food.

Myself and two friends were in today for lunch of the Christmas menu, we had crispy prawns, so crispy we couldn’t bite into them, turkey skewers with all the trimming!!!! the majority was burnt and inedible. Waiter and supervisor were so apologetic, the manager knew we were not happy and did not have the manners to come and speak to us. On reflection we were sorry we paid the full price. Have been going for lunch every month for 6 months but we will not be back.

Food was amazing all credit to the kitchen team as they seemed busy as hell on SaturdayBar staff seemed good as well . Myself and the rest of the lads enjoyed ourselves
