Things haven't improved in the last 2 years then! I STILL CONSTANTLY get the appalling message 'all our operators are busy, please try again later'. This is absurd in the 21st Century. There should AT LEAST be a call queue, even if only to tell you you are 38th in the queue!

Trying to contact this office is a nightmare. There is no E mail to write to and when you try and call them on the phone you are cut off every time because there are too many people in the queue ahead of you.For an office which is trying to help people at a time of bereavement it is appallingly inefficient and just cause more stress!

Like so many of the reviews here, this is a poorly organised answering service. First, a long preamble regarding where to seek information and obtain forms and an invitation to hold the line to speak to somebody - before being told that all the lines are busy, please try again later. Surely, either implement a queue system or put the all lines are busy" upfront so that you do not have to sit through the long preamble every time you try."

Agree with last reviewer. Have spent 2 days trying to get through on the telephone, having to sit through recorded message about using the website before being out through to another recorded message saying all operators are busy and to call back later before being cut off. No option to join a queue or leave a message. Given the nature of their business ie dealing with people coping with bereavement, this just makes a stressful situation even more so. Unacceptable in 2018.

A Shocking service. 3 yrs we have been resending paper work because they have lost it and not ones have they said sorry. If your using there service and sending paper work vai post pay that little bit more and get it sent recorded. It doesn't spot them saying we didnt receive it but your have proof they have sign for it.Really bad experience and were still waiting on them.

Appalling, absolutely appalling. 37 attempts one day to contact them and eventually got through.The person answering the phone did their best and advised me to ring back in a months time for an update. One month later 51 attempts to get through but no luck. Then tried [email protected] who promised to have the manager contact me. But guess what - heard nothing.Communications with this lot are not worth a star

Absolutely Appalling !OVER 6 MONTHS NOW!!!!Every time you ring the ONE contact telephone number, it's always busy and the phone disconnects. Having managed to eventually speak to a person, STILL nothing has been done despite being promised that my case would be investigated as they were concerned at the lack of activity on this case"Been ringing all day at different times. I Have now made a complaint on the Gov.uk website - the laughable thing about this is when you get to the end page and submit your complaint - it says " to check on the progress of your complaint

Typical of gov.uk.plc. Phone never answered, no vmail, website down, no email facility. Shambolic. Also does it really take 9 months to shuffle a few papers around to 'approve' Probate? This is UK at its worst. Probate services should be easy, efficient, compassionate and speedy. This is none of these and frankly totally unacceptable. Does anyone in the 'service' know or care how appalling their interaction is for people who are obviously already grieving? Some may also be in financially challenging situations. I would have given no stars, but you can't.

Dreadful, when I ring I get a recorded message saying Please wait to be connected to a member of staff". One moment later I hear a message that says "All our members are busy please call later" and get cut off immediately. No matter what time of day I call

DONT CALL THEM THERE IS NEVER ANYONE MANNING THE PHONES. Just thought I’d put that in case anyone makes the mistake I did and actually believes that they will answer the phone. Very shady thing to do, having a phone like that can’t have messages left and isn’t ever manned. You understand people calling will have had a family member recently die don’t you.....
