Delicious cod meal off the specials board. Beautiful presentation. Vegetables served seperately and a jug of sauce.....delightful.

My friend and I came yesterday {Saturday 26th August) I had the soup which was delicious.. Best I've ever tasted,. We had steak n ale pie... mushy peas... Homemadechips n gravy which my friend said its the best pie they have ever had full to the top with steak n I had fish with Homemade chips... Mushy peas n tartar sauce which was also tasty.... We will definately be back again when I will try the pie... The young girl who served us did a fantastic job . She's a credit to ur team... Thank you for a great meal

Called here today for lunch. Lovely place, comfortable and friendly staff. We ordered the battered cod and steak and ale pie. The cod fillet was very thin, even though the beer batter was spot on, it would have been perfect with more fish. As for the pie the filling was delicious but the pastry was far too thick and heavy. It's not the nicest being criticized for all your hard work but I'm hoping these minor observations will be taken on board in a constructive way as the majority of our meal was enjoyed.
