The Cat's Whiskers

Rachel is amazing - we have a tiny little lady called Poppie who is 10 and hasn’t ever been groomed before. She is a long haired cat and was a rescue so is super shy, she is indoor only, too.We have just moved house and she is so nervous but when Rachel arrived (she does home visits!) she dropped her tools and said hi to her, giving her a stroke and using lovely body language with her. She was so gentle with the groom as I held Poppie, we chatted the whole way through and took breaks for her so she could have a cuddle and a rest. Our little Pop didn’t even run away at the end, she stuck around to wash her paws and Rachel and I gave her a treat. She even ate the treat out of Rachel’s hand (this has NEVER happened before, she only takes treats from us).Thank you so much for treating our little lady with respect and for making her feel so comfortable. You are a legend and we can’t wait to book our 3 monthly grooms for her now.Anyone on the fence about this, take my word for it - it’s worth it! I’m in awe of how beautiful our Pop is now that undercoat has gone.
