Greaaat bar. Friendly staff an the punters wer out of this world. Have been there quite a few times an it never changes. Greaaat staff Greaaat punters an Greaaat bar 2 be in. A must if you're about the area.

The pints were good and pretty cheap, good craic. Had a good few hours here and found it very welcoming! Not at all touristy, just a nice sound boozer.

It is a friendly pub with a jukebox. The walls are depicting the memory of the famous snooker player Alex Higgins who died in the nearby building. Unfortunately they accept only cash (September 2021)

This place was awesome I was welcomed like I lived around the corner. The people that worked there treated me like family and the patrons that were regulars also treated me the same. This was a great find, and I recommend to all.

The Royal Bar is one of the best bars in Northern Ireland, you are always assured of a friendly welcome, the staff and all the patrons are top notch, once you frequent the Royal you will always want to go back.

Why the heck do the owners of this establishment think it's acceptable to fly a Confederate flag outside?If I was a more suspicious person, I'd be led to believe this was antagonist and racist behaviour.Poor form.

Decent bar situated off Shaftesbury Square. I was in before the Northern Ireland match and the atmosphere was great. Very good prices as well
