It was very vague. We asked how the deal worked and were told we'd need to order at the bar but we weren't sure what was in the Groupon offer. The cutlery handles and table were sticky to the touch. There were old liquid splashes on the wall and the carpet was littered with food. Anyway, we ordered nachos to start. They were made with salsa out of a jar and some processed cheese with no sour cream. We'd to ask for sour cream that arrived in soggy paper containers. Nachos are so easy to make with Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese and fresh salsa but what was served up was pitiful. I ordered the chicken sizzler but it was just warm chicken breast on some vegetables - no sizzle. My friend ordered steak but it was so tough she couldn't cut it with the steak knife. The onions that's came with it were boiled. Again, no sizzle. We were really disappointed and disgusted with the whole experience.

Our server Deanna was so lovely, her service was perfect and hilarious. She even provided a comedic routine in which she juggled our jalepenis and threw one into my mouth just like a tepenyaki chef.

Used to enjoy this place, recently however it feels cheaper and just overall lower effort.Had a few middling visits the past while but last week was the final straw. The menu made my ribs with “chili heatwave Doritos crumb” actually sound nice, didn’t realise I’d get literally a couple Doritos crushed on top.Kudos to the menu, it really hoodwinked me.In addition, nearly all my sides were missing. I had to specifically enquire and the staff didn’t seem to realise most of my sides were absent (pictured). Their explanations even made it sound like the kitchen didn’t know the order was incomplete also. Finally, describing a tiny tub of bog standard sauce as “BBQ gravy” is another great example of the menu pulling one over on me.The menu writer deserves a bloody Oscar for their efforts.I generally love simple pub grub but I like to get what I ordered and not to be disappointed with how the product is advertised.I don’t normally review, but my visit inspired me.
