Staff members took care of my lactose intolerant condition and succesfully adjusted my meal. Food and drinks are great and service was quick. Waiters were very friendly and polite. Overall a pleasant experience to prepare for my flight.

There is a reason this place has been rated so low. Avoid.Given this is a premier service airport one would expect a better quality. Like the counter service (absolutely useless - no interest by the BA sales man in showing any interest or enthusiasm)Food is overpriced but service is quick. Also no taste. Typical supermarket used sauce. The least could be hand made salsa or gauc or nachos.I had nachos (vege) and a drink. 13£ and 11£ respectively.Eat before arriving

Sorry but this is the biggest rip off. I can see the staff are unhappy giving out the food. If you charged a reasonable price it may be ok. I think a Tesco meal deal tastes better.Avoid. The staff were nice but the food ! And it cost £52. Awful.I hope the airport owners are resting this.

As the only restaurant in the airport, it's clearly relying on its monopoly. While the service was quick and staff friendly, the food was very poor.The plant-based, vegan burger was so bad and looked like it had been made at a failing McDonald's. However they have the audacity to charge £15 for it alongside some chips. It should be taken off the menu right away, and I wished I had just grabbed a sandwich from WH Smiths. Never again.

Conveniently located away from the main retail area of City Airport, The City offers ample bar and table seating. However, the service is erratic and the prices are on the premium end. Their breakfast menu is basic and starts at £15.99 for an English Breakfast with a humble cup of coffee setting you back £3.99. My suggestion is to order from the sides menu that includes poached eggs, bacon and salmon with the price starting at £2.49. The lunch menu served after 11AM features small plates, pasta, fish, burgers and salads. While the staff is hard working, The City falls into the trap of most airport restaurants, serving overpriced, average food.
