I got a chicken kebab for over £4, you would expect more then just barly grilled bland chicken mince. Also chicken with peppers again is bland chicken mince in a ring of a pepper. My mistake for expecting a chicken kebab roll with sauces in naan bread but for the price I expected more. This dish of two rolls of bland chicken mince and 3 stuffed pepper rings cost over £8!

Booked a table of 16 for my 25 years service at Siemens. Raj and his team excelled again excellent food and service as usual. Dealing with 16 orders all the food came out pretty much all together. They made chilli bhajis as a special request.

My first time at any Witney curry house.the staff are super friendly, even stepped up to my best curry challenge. must be smooth, spicy, textured, look amazing and unforgettable flavour. They smashed it. Even gave us extra chocolate!! Dropped one point for no indian background music for atmosphere.

The Shaan is always on our 'eat out' list when in Witney. The food is excellent and the staff will do their best to help if you have any special requirements.Sunday's fixed price menu is great value.Worth booking in advance Friday and Saturday.

Lovely Indian, customer service is top notch, I would suggest booking but they do accommodate walk ins too as we was. You won't regret it, the food is lovely, and can't fault their service. We will be back again.

Walked in on a Wednesday night without pre booking (5 people) Staff were very accommodating. food was excellent we all had different dishes and each one was really good including a vegetarian dish.Staff very attentive and polite. A great evening, will definitely be returning!

Appalling service boarding on aggressive. Clearly trying to maximise turnover of customers as quickly as possible and getting them to buy expensive drinks to maximise profits. Food is fairly bog standard BIR fare. Not a pleasent place or experience....Will not be returning. But interestingly have discovered a new restaurant called Bangla on the same street where the service and authentic food is excellent.

Crammed in tables with little room. People were moved on very quickly with little customer care. Even when we had finished the bill was dropped on the table whilst still finishing our drinks and then asked by the waiter to give a tip!Our food! We asked the waiter about there special offer, which is printed at the top of the menu, to which he did not have a clue! He asked another waiter to explain this to us but he never did. The chicken jalfrezi was the worst I have EVER had. No spice other than chilli in a tomato sauce with under cooked peppers with the toughest over cooked chicken ever, I could not cut it and had to tear it! The people of Witney need to venture further a filed as nearly all other Indian restaurants supersede Shaan.Gentlemen of Shaan you really need to up your game! I’ve given one star as I couldn’t give half!

By a mile, the best in Witney and the surrounding areas! Staff are great and it's always buzzing in there. Personal favourites: Tandoori lamb chops and if you like it spicy, try the chicken tikka naga! The Sunday banquet is ridiculously good value. Starter, main, side and a rice or naan. £13.50!
