Second time we have used this firm in the last 12 months and we were as pleased as last time. Mick and his son James helped us over a 5 week period to refurbish a very tired rental property. Made good walls, steps, window frames. Plastered, painted, varnished. put up interior fittings. Definitely our go to handyman from now on.

Mick was very responsive and provided an excellent repair service for our fridge and door fittings. His work was of extremely high quality and he was very professional. He arrived promptly and it was clear he was very committed to completing the job thoroughly and he also took the time to explain the work involved. Had some water damage in our bay window area. Found these guys with some research and gave them a call. Were able to do the job within a few days of the initial call. They did a great job and were really nice people we had a good chat and a laugh while they were here. Always amazing when people go the extra mile to help out and these guys did that. Highly recommended!

We had a large and very messy expanse of old collapsed ceiling - which A1 managed to make as good as new with impressive craftsmanship and great good humour. Their fair pricing, professionalism and obvious skills mean that A1 is definitely an apt name for this company.

Mick was polite and courteous when contacted on the telephone and by email, and friendly in person. He arrived punctually, completed the work in the time estimated, charged only cost price for materials, and a very fair price for labour. The quality of the work seems very good indeed and he clearly takes pride in his work.
