Leonardo Hotel Inverness - Formerly Jurys Inn

The hotel was ok the rooms were a bit grubby and in need of updating. The carpet needed to be replaced and the bathroom door also. The staff were friendly and helpful. Before our visit we called the hotel to request a room with a view of the car park and was told that would not be a problem but when we arrived we didn’t get the room as promised. We were given some vouchers for food and drink discounts to make up for it.

I loved my time here, all of the staff are very friendly and positive, Natalia was especially personable and improved my stay here.Health facilities are nice, I enjoyed the sauna a lot and it wasn’t very busy, though the gym is a bit small if you are looking for a squat rack, heavy weights, etc.I will definitely be coming back for my next stays in Inverness.

Economical stay. Clean, tidy, sufficient size for 3 people in triple room, heaters, hair dryer, towels, tub, JIM, SAUNA, all required things are there.Enjoyed the stay, good location too. Ample space for cars.Reception doors confuse and charged room bill twice, they refunded on request work out a hitch.

Friendly service and staff, the room was a bit small but had a good night's sleep, the breakfast was lovely just a pity there wasn't any haggis,black pudding or potato scone that would have made breakfast perfect, the leasure suite was lovely and not too busy,looking forward to booking again in the future.

Have to thank the Manager, Neil and Front Office assistant. Kai for their help and kindness. VERY professional and customer service oriented. Very accommodating in every way. Staff at restaurant/bar not great. Ordered a plain burger with a side sauce and the skin on fries . My burger came with sauce all over the burger and steak chips. Complained to the staff about the burger and he just said sorry about that and walked away. I asked about the skin on fries and was just told they were discontinued. Feel like there was no effort to look after me as a customer. Staff took my plate away half eaten and never ask what was wrong. Just a poor service . Beer was nice . Also the pool was lovely

Comfortable bed and pillows, good size tv. Very clean room. Bargain last minute price. Pool and sauna great but very busy with lessons in the morning. The sauna and jacuzzi great. Extremely not keen on the only one private changing room and told I can change in the toilet.

Going Downhill - since this hotel changed from Jury's to Leonardo it's notably gone downhill. The new staff are somewhat disinterested and quick to give you an excuse to fob you off rather than help you with something, suggesting you contact the head office helpline or tell you to go and try another member of staff. The quality of breakfast is now sub-standard, the fruit juice is no longer fresh juice instead it's heavily watered down concentrate. Same applies to the other items on offer. The staff again here don't really show any interest to help when there's items missing at the buffet. The rooms are also becoming tired, and in need of renewal. Dirty carpets, bathroom doors rotting to name a some issues. Noisy pipework is also a problem, for example I keep getting woken up by next door flushing their toilet, must be air in the pipes. There is also a lack of sound proofing between the room door and the corridor (can hear every noise and light shines in) and also between rooms. The showers are very temperamental, typically they are overly hot and high pressure or freezing cold and no pressure. Furthermore the rooms are poorly ventilated often resulting in a room thats far too hot. The windows barely stay open and even then there is significant noise if you do keep them open due to being near a busy road. There is no temperature control in the room. These issues are common in many rooms as I've stayed here several times. Will look to stay elsewhere in future.

I didn't stay at the hotel but have been a member at the leisure centre for a few months now. This was the first gym I had ever joined, and I'm incredibly grateful that I chose this specific gym. The staff have been great since the get go, Andy and Jordan have been a constant and have made my entry into gym a delight. From the chats to answering my questions, I can not thank them enough.
