Premier Inn York North West hotel

My recent stay at Premier Inn left me extremely disappointed, particularly due to the untrustworthy nature of their housekeeping staff. Despite contacting the hotel's customer service about my forgotten phone charger, the housekeeper claimed to have found nothing.This experience raises serious concerns about the reliability and professionalism of Premier Inn's housekeeping team. If they cannot be trusted to handle lost items properly, it calls into question their ability to adequately clean and maintain guest rooms. This lack of accountability left me with a very negative impression.I cannot recommend Premier Inn to others who expect a reliable and trustworthy hotel experience. It is disheartening to realize that even a simple item like a phone charger can go missing under their watch. Potential guests should consider other options where their belongings are more likely to be secure and treated with care.

A great 3 night stay at Premier Inn!This hotel was no exception to the friendly staff that work in Premier Inn hotels, and it came with a restaurant that had all the food you need for breakfast and dinner! Overall an excellent stay! Hoping to come again!

I stayed here whilst on an overnight visit to my new employer. The rooms, as always, were spacious and comfortable. Whilst I stayed there, the wifi wasn't working due to a technical fault, which was beyond the control of Premier Inn. This wasn't helped by a local mobile mast having a fault, so I couldn't tether my phone. I would stay here again as it is very local to my works office.

Staff were polite and helpful. The room was OK, unfortunately, let down by a window or door left open, slamming randomly, throughout the day and night in an adjacent room. Food in the restaurant was OK. However, I had a bad stomach on the last day, I believe it was most likely the pre-preprepared cheese cake from the fridge, poor storage, or hygiene at a guess.

£130 for a basic room, which needless to say was not only tired looking, but not terribly comfortable!The air conditioning is no existent and as a result the rooms are exceptionally hot in summer months.The management at Premier Inn appear to have installed thermostatically controlled heating which cannot cool the room!A “Noisy” fan is supplied if you are able to sleep through the racket that makes.The room in general was clean enough, with the exception of the stains on the carpets and the soft furnishings.Certainly not worth £130 per night …!

Spent 5nights here with my 2 children. The room had no ac and it was so hot especially during the night. We had fans in the room but they were just giving hot air.We had our cleaned once and tbh all thy did is replace our towels. They didn’t change the bedding, replaced toilet tissues or even hoover the floor!!!! I had to go and get toilet tissues from the reception. When asked why they didn’t hoover the floor I was told that it wasn’t part of the cleaning progress!!! How is that eve possible!? The bathroom had a horrible smellSo disappointed with my stay

Used to be a great menu and good food, we went regularly. Went again recently and menu is very limited now. We all made do" with meals we didn't really want. Won't visit again sadly."

Stayed here for work. Everything is fine with the hotel and staff and beefeater next-door is great. Only thing I could complain about is the room could do with some TLC. I am also on the ground floor where I hear the persons toilet above me being flushed.

I had a good size room where everything was working including the WiFi which gave me a good service, shower had excellent pressure, TV and free view channels all worked as well, a lovely comfortable bed so had 4 nights of great sleep.I was on a training course for the duration of my stay so location for me was perfect as the training centre was only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.Staff were all friendly, professional and helpful, service at reception was as always quick.The beefeater restaurant attached had great food and service so zero complaints from me, I will be staying again next year when I have more courses to do.

Basic but just what is needed! Very comfy bed!! Nice sized tv. Only one socket on one side of the bed! The bathroom was ok could do with a toothbrush to scrub in some places a cloth can’t! GET A BATH MAT!! I slipped on our first night while getting out after a shower!! Bath mat available at the desk! Breakfast was lovely GREAT coffee thank goodness! Prefect location for centre of York!
