I used them to put both a dog and a budgie to sleep at separate times and both times the staff were great during what were very emotional visits for me. It's not the cheapest, but they were very easy to arrange time sensitive appointments with so I certainly won't complain.

Its very sad that this vet is all about the money and do not care!!! I help injured, sick and dying wildlife and this morning I picked up a fox that was dying a slow death in the Selsdon area and clearly needed euthanising. I drove past this vets and went in saying that I appreciated that they most likely would be busy and could leave the fox in my cage until they had time to euthanize. The receptionist looked a bit puzzled and I later found out that she was new so I explained that vets have a duty of care and in fact are obliged only to relieve suffering i.e. provide pain relief or euthanasia. I dont blame her for not believing me and went to speak to the vets and when she came back the receptionist asked who would pay!!! No one and it is insulting for this to be asked as it is part of their duty of care to wildlife. Infact if I found an injured cat and brought it in would they not treat until finances had been paid? The vet came and while I was explaining what had happened she stood there grinning at me, which to be honest was unnerving and made me feel she was not taking the situation seriously. When she did speak she was rude by starting to say now that you are letting me speak...". To be honest I would not want anyone there to help me or the fox and was very lucky that another vet was able to help. Very sad the one and only time I came to ask for help and found out that it was all about the money!!"

Absolutely brilliant with my anxious dog who was feeling very uncomfortable due to an allergy. Lovely, caring staff. Very reasonable fees. A quiet environment. So happy to have found this vets. My dog was much more comfortable within hours of his treatment starting.

If you love your animal avoid this vet! I had an emergency after my cat got out of the window and fell from my 4th floor flat. From the moment I walked into that vet and the nurse took him, I could sense that I was about to be milked for my money! I paid just over £1000 for an X-ray and had to borrow the money and then they wanted an extra £10.5k to give him surgery on 2 legs, then they went on to say that if I can’t pay it then the only other option is euthanasia due to my animals welfare - by the way my cat wasn’t even one years old at this point so otherwise very healthy! It almost felt as though this vet was not going to let me take my cat unless I pay to have him put to sleep or pay the the £10.5k for surgery! It didn’t feel right and I was right to feel that way. I ended up taking him to the blue cross where you genuinely feel like the vets care for the animals well being.. I was quoted £6k for a repair from a specialist (which selsdon vets told me £10.5k is the best price I’ll find)! It makes you feel sick that a organisation will take advantage of the fact you love your animal.. that was the first and last time I’ll step foot in that place. My cat is on the road to recovery thankfully and I’m glad I listened to my instincts. On a side note, there was one vet in there who seemed to genuinely care, she was only there when I went to collect my cat though and she gave me a bit more advise after I refused to pay £10.5k or put my cat down.

We had to get our Cody spade. We had already been going here for his checkups since we got him. The staff a very friendly. They have separate seating area for cats and dogs. It's a necessary evil for anyone with pets so it's nice to be able to go to somewhere you trust. Always somewhere to park add well.

We've used them a few times, but it's always been a mixed bag.+ friendly and helpful staff.+ local with good appointment availability and parking.+ clean and quiet practice, lobby designed for cats and dogs, with some rabbit products.- but we see a different staff member every time, even for follow ups on the same case.- prices are 2-3 times the cost compared to any other neighbouring vet for any service; consultation, medicine, euthanasia etc.- after a big surgery on a small pet we were sent home without medication, the vet who said they'd do the surgery; wasn't in on the day of the op, our baby was discharged with no pain relief and no option to keep them in for observation. They eventually chewed their stiches out in pain and had to be euthanised as they ruptured their belly. They are great when you need a vet close and quick, but they're so expensive. Getting a taxi and going to another nearby vet, works out way cheaper for the same quality of care.Update: I reached out as asked, but they only wanted to know who I was, nothing came of it.

Disappointed with the service, I took my puppy in to see the vet as he was sick, not eating and very distant and scared his vitals were checked and everything was ‘okay’ but when I got home I noted my poor pup had a tick on him which was a little traumatic to take out for both myself and my pup as I had no idea what I was doing. I even listed his symptoms to the vet and it was never mentioned as a possibility. The next day my pup was worse with his sickness but having already paid £60 to be told he was fine I didn’t trust going back in and managed myself at home think I’ll be searching for a new vets…. Sad really the vet I saw was nice but in this instance not helpful
