Debbie was absolutely brilliant with us - our dog had a bad phobia which we had no luck in dealing with. Debbie gave us all the time we needed, took all information she needed in a very personable manner and was able to draw us up a plan that worked superbly. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.

Debbie has helped me work out how to make my recall more robust with my dog Max. He was great at responding to my recall when it worked for him - otherwise he would happily ignore me. She has helped me understand his behaviour so that I can interact with him in ways which work for both of us. I now have a reliable recall which means I can be confident when I let him off the lead and enjoy our time together.

Debbie was recommended to me by word of mouth from within the clinical behaviour community itself. I was asking if anyone knew of anyone in Cairo who'd be able to help out a family member. They were adopting a 6 month old Baladi street dog taken from the streets as a puppy who'd had parvo which had led to segregation and hence lack of early socialisation. I was hoping for a Cairo contact or failing that hoped to find someone who'd be able to work remotely and be a good fit to the owner. As a vet I have experience of how people can underestimate how difficult it is taking on puppies of that age who have not been appropriately socialised. It can be catastrophic, for both dog and owner.I had an initial chat with Debbie after using her booking system which I found impressively easy and efficient. I love Debbie's approach. She genuinely cares. I have every confidence in not only her professionalism but her competency too. She understands there are differences within and between breeds, something that was an important consideration for me as street dogs are a bit of a speciality. Novel situations like having loose dogs coming up to you when you are trying to walk your frightened anxious dog is another thing that the relation needed help with. A local trainer/clinician was found and Cairo canine is now doing well. It's obviously better to have someone on the ground who can work one to one with you and your dog so that's what happened in our case. I have given Debbie's business a five star review however because her communication skills are excellent and she is someone I would have no hesitation going to myself. I'm sure she would help me to solve any behaviour or training issue I might find and I would grow through the process. I understood from her that she works with owners and progresses them stage by stage to train and educate their companion. When teaching an academic subject you wouldn't launch in with A levels before you'd taught the basics of reading so this is a practice I approve of. Because of her qualifications the cost of her behaviour modification programmes could be covered by pet insurance too. It's really important to find the right person to help you train your dog or to sort out a behavioural issue; rather like marriage guidance there's a personal element involved. This is where her no commitment chat is so useful. You need the right person not just for your dog but also for you. I have no hesitation recommending Debbie as I think she has all bases covered.

After experiencing poor dog so called behaviourists previously, I searched the web and discovered Debbie. Communication and set up was great at the beginning, some initial tips helped with my cocker spaniel. 90% of the time I was having to contact Debbie asking for guidance. I was extremely disappointed with the help I received. It didn't help with my dog. I appreciate it takes time. I was told I would get 2 home visits at the end of the programme and then Covid took hold. I understand that but no proposed video calls were suggested. No debrief at the conclusion or plan going forward. Just feel I have paid for a service, expensive one and not received the service I expected.

I had a telephone consultation with Debbie to discuss some behavioural struggles I was having with my rescue dog. There was a slight mix up with the booking system initially which Debbie rectified very quickly. It was a really useful conversation, Debbie took her time to understand more about our dog and the circumstances around his reactions giving some useful and practical tips.

I contacted Debbie (I knew of her great work through a friend of a friend) because my friend was having problems with her rescue puppy (now a young dog) who was barking and showing aggression to other dogs. She was distressed and embarrassed about her dog's behaviour. Debbie's online course was the perfect solution for a multitude of reasons. Debbie's list of qualifications is impressive, but more important than that was her approach which was professional, helpful and non-judgemental.

I first met Debbie some years ago when I was having considerable problems with my young male boxer who was very strong on the lead and reacted badly whenever he saw another dog. Debbie's guidance and kind instruction helped me to make a real difference to my dog's ability to deal with the world around him. Moving to the present, just before lock down, I welcomed a boxer puppy into my little pack of three dogs. Debbie has been enormously supportive, reassuring and responsive as I have sought her help to ensure that my little puppy does not grow up with the same issues as my old boy. Her advice has been spot on and my little pup is very confident but polite with other dogs and a terrific character. I can heartily recommend Debbie for her knowledge and professionalism.

I spoke to Debbie about a not very pleasant habit our rescue puppy had, coprophagia, (eating their own poo). She explained a range of reasons why dogs may do this (often rescues that have issues from earlier experiences) and several tips for us to try and stop it. As a Dog owner, sometimes you have to retrain yourself in order to help your pet.!! Once we got in to a better routine with poop time and supervision the habit stopped. She kept in touch for a few weeks checking on progress.

We contacted Debbie in some desperation with a highly stressed and frightened Dalmatian. We were frightened we'd lose him. Her advice has been just fantastic. Through an initial series of weekly Zoom meetings, she has taken us on a journey, supported by helpful briefing notes, which has helped us train and support our dog to be happier, healthier and calmer. She never rushes us, she always talks sense - and she offers amazing value! Hugely recommend.

I contacted Debbie last year regarding my rescue dog who was afraid to go out of the house. Due to us being in lockdown at the time we couldn’t meet up but Debbie gave me all the time in the world talking to me on the phone. She was totally sympathetic and understanding of my dog’s ( Otis) problem and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the advice she gave me to try and help Otis. Her suggestions worked. Although it took a little time for Otis to gain his confidence, by following Debbies advice he now can’t wait to go out for a walk. Debbie didn’t just leave it at that she has since followed up on how Otis is doing. I would strongly recommend Debbie to anyone who is having dog behaviour problems. 10/10 service. Thank you Debbie.
