Mia went above and beyond to make sure the table runners were perfect for our wedding. I selected a colour which wasn't quite right and as soon as I realised she put the most perfect match on special delivery and it arrived in time for the wedding. The table runners perfectly finished off our tables and I couldn't have been happier with them! Would 100% recommend!

We hired some gorgeous plant-dyed table runners from Mia Sylvia for our woodland wedding last month. Mia was really responsive, friendly and efficient all the way through and I must say that hiring the table runners was probably one of the easiest parts of the wedding planning! They arrived perfectly on time for the day, in fact was there waiting at our venue for us when we arrived to set up the day before. The runners themselves were gorgeous colours, exactly what I asked for, and beautiful quality. Would very happily use Mia's services again and recommend her to others for their events!

We loved working with Mia Sylvia and were so blessed to have her beautiful organic textiles and craftwork elevate our wedding. She took the time to understand our colour palette and styling, as well as the our venue to perfectly compliment our style.She provided hand died napkins, great in both texture and colour, as well as a beautiful installation of drapes throughout the barn that helped make what was already a beautiful space even more magical.Throughout the process she was responsive, understanding and importantly super flexible, particularly as we did have a few change of minds right up until the last minute! Nothing was too big of a problem for Mia and we are so grateful to have worked with her for our wedding – and recommend you do too!

I first came across Mia’s wonderful business when I ordered hand dyed silks for my wedding bouquets. I style interiors and clothes, so have dyed materials before, but wanted to learn more about the world of natural dyes. I attended one of Mia’s beginners workshops, and absolutely loved it! I had so much fun unwrapping the patterns I’d created, and got to take home lots of samples and material to use. Mia’s studio space is lovely and inspiring! I also loved the location, and spent the afternoon shopping in be nearby village. So thankful to Mia and her warmth in teaching! She’s a delight to spend time with, and is a really good teacher. Only wish I lived closer to attend more classes!Thank you!!

Mia completely rejuvenated a vintage dress I recently purchased, turning it from a quirky dated pink/green to gorgeous, deep dahlia purple!I posted the garment to her and received it back swiftly in gorgeous recyclable wrapping with dried flowers. The dress itself was remarkably vibrant considering it was naturally dyed, I've seen a whole new side of this textile process. So much flare and floral energy - perfect for the incoming hot spring. It also smelt so fresh and clean and was well within my budget!Now I know I can genuinely wear and treasure it for years, I'm so thankful there are artists like Mia out there making it possible to leave fast fashion behind and bring well-tailored but tired clothes into the present!

I recently hired napkins & table runners for my wedding after finding Mia on instagram, and I am so glad I did!! The napkins were beautiful, we had so many compliments on how unique and different they were for a wedding and the orange table runners really helped to give the white tablecloths a bit of an edge. Mia was so friendly and easy to communicate with from start to finish, and was happy to arrange delivery/collection of the items to and from a variety of different addresses. Thank you so much Mia!

Mia just comes across as the loveliest person and nothing has been too much for our wedding decoration. The material we received was ordered quite last minute but it arrived on time and was just gorgeous. I would certainly recommend Mia and would definitely use her business again

We hired fabric from Mia for our wedding and loved incorporating it into our day. Her ethical, natural ethos is amazing and was a big factor in us choosing to hire these in, rather than simply to opt for the linens our caterer could source. We hired table runners, napkins, and some draping fabric, as well as ordering some bouquet ribbons. We hired fabrics from Mia Sylvia for our wedding reception and were so pleased with our decision. She kindly offered to dye the green napkins from a minty to a forest green. The feel and look when they arrived were gorgeous and really set off the natural look of the venue. The postal hiring and returning process was so easy.
