The environment is beautiful! Feels like a true American diner in the heart of Brighton. The seats are VERY comfortable. The foods smells and looks exquisite and tastes fantastic. Served by the amazing Johnathan who is very helpful and an absolute laugh - would definitely come again!

My husband and I went to Brighton for the day and decided to have breakfast at Ed’s. It was amazing-the food came quickly, plenty of it, hot, good cuppa with the brekkie and best of all-Jonathan, our waiter. He was an absolute joy, so happy and cheerful, attentive and chatty. Such a great start to my birthday weekend-really made my day. Thank you Jonathan for being amazing and being you, please don’t lose that. We intend to come back soon.

food was okay, staff friendly and attentive, nice atmosphere, the fries were lovely, not a fan of the bacon, loved the cayenne ranch, bit pricey but still nice overall

Great atmosphere in the diner was a packed restaurant around lunch time, 2nd time here and was great! Jonathan who served our food was amazing too, very friendly, cracking jokes made us feel welcome!Food and milkshakes were great too, decent sized portions and big milkshakes too

Popped into Ed's Diner, Brighton today. Ordered the BBQ loaded fries, onion rings, Oreo milkshake shake & a tea. The sides were great & the milkshake plentiful & delicious. Great service from our waiter too, who was polite & friendly.

Great food. Every time I've eaten here it's been great, although I struggled to find a student discount, it's still worth it for the price. Portion sizes are great. Service is quick. Atmosphere is great, the music matches the diner which is surprisingly difficult for many places to do.Extra sauces and salt and pepper are easily accessible.And the Ice is Cubed!
