My partner found this pub on maps and suggested it on our day out from Great Ayton we're we were staying and what a suggestion .. from the moment we walked in made to feel really welcome the guys behind the bar were top of there game for suggestions and service good real ale selection (so I'm happy) and the food was excellent top notch massive portions menu and a great specials board.. keep your chef at all costs he / she is brilliant.. super dog friendly (we always check first) our dalmatian wilf loved the fuss and treats( note no dogs in the restaurant area only in bar and gardens.. and that's a good descion ) the outside seating looked lovely we would have sat out but it just was too hot .. absolutely brilliant pub

We called for a quick spot of lunch.We were impressed with the quality of the food. I had sausage and mash and my wife had lasagna, both of which were home made.They have a fair selection of beers, but no hand pulled ales.The staff are very friendly and helpful and the locals are also very welcoming.We were allowed to take our small dog in as well, which is an extra bonus.We will definitely be back for more food and drinks

My sister and I took my mother (in a wheelchair) to the Tiger for lunch. It was excellent. The steak and ale pie was absolutely delicious. The host was very attentive. My only suggestion would be to have an offer of smaller portions. It was so nice, that we finished our plates, but it was a struggle and we had no room for the tempting desserts. It was a very quiet lunchtime, so I can't really comment on the ambiance.

Food was simply stunning! Thai curry & pork steaks - beautifully cooked, lovely presentation and tasted delicious.Wasn't expecting anything half as good as we got ... and at a reasonable price.Well done, and thank you The Tiger Inn!

Just had our evening meal here. The food was piping hot, large portions and vert tasty. I myself had the beetroot soup followed by the seafood tagliatelle. My dad had mussels followed by steak pie. My mum had soup followed by a chicken dish. My other half had black pudding salad followed by a burger. All absolutely delicious!! We couldn't fit a dessert in but I imagine that would've been just as nice.Hats off to the young man who had started as an apprentice as well, great service. Highly recommend.

Found this pub by accident and so glad we did. Not many people in but we were welcomed and the owner was really friendly and the food was really good. And it's dog friendly so that was a bonus. Friendly locals. When next in area will definitely pop in.

Fabulous little find, after passing a couple of times we decide to have lunch here - on first impression wasn't expecting much. However the food was exceptionally good with plenty of choice, staff and locals very welcoming.

The holiday home we are staying at has numerous recommendations for the Tiger Inn and we are pleased we followed them.We ate here twice during the week and on both occasions received a warm welcome to a thriving village pub which is also a very successful restaurant.The food is excellent value, great quality and they do not mess about with portions. Bring your appetite! The gourmet burger and the chicken tikka sizzler were both tasty as you like.The staff were lovely and the landlord a really genuine guy who is obviously proud of what the Inn has achieved. Cannot fault them at all and am only sorry we're off home tomorrow.

Took my son for his birthday meal. The food was outstanding. The portions are generous, I had a parmo and I couldn't finish it. Staff are extremely friendly. With real log fires. Beautiful little place.
