Homely Serviced Apartments - Blonk St

Apartment was very clean, has nice views, hot water for showering and beds are very good to sleep in.

Great place to stay clean home from. I stop away a lot for business always stoo in serviced apartments and these are right there with the best.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR MANY REASONS INCLUDING BROKEN HEATERS AND NO HOT WATER.1 - Ran out of hot water after one male showering for 10 minutes. Really bad considering we had no hot water for the rest of the weekend for the others to have a shower considering this is meant to accommodate for 4 guests.2 - On checkout, Peter from the management tried to charge us £30 for a broken bin that we didn’t use as we took our rubbish straight down to bins at reception. We disputed this as it was clearly the cleaner. Regardless, the bin was definitely not worth £30.3 - Heaters were both broke so was freezing.We made Peter aware of all of this and he did not take action and has ignored all of my calls and emails. We requested for a partial refund as we didn’t have the basics such as hot water and heating but this was not recieved either. Much better places to spend your money!

This is a nice apartment where you can actually open the door for your visitors without stepping out. Easily located and its at a close proximity to shopping mall and african stores

Very clean rooms, we had a comfortable stay here. Good location, nice apartment. Only downside was that it didn't have parking, so we found some street parking nearby.Very good value for money.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! These apartments are anything but luxurious! I was absolutely disgusted at the state of the apartment there was a funny smell, the window sills were covered with hundreds of dead flies, the toilet lock didn't work, the toilet didn't flush properly, the boiler didn't work, hot water was tempermental, the splashback was greasy, several spars on one of the beds were broken, the grout between the floor tiles in the bathroom had come away leaving exposed sharp corners, the bin in the toilet was left filled with dirty sanitary towels and the floor and surfaces didn't look like they had been touched! After realising all this my family and I contacted management who sent out a cleaner to apologise and clean the entire apartment. The cleaner herself claimed to be management and her attitude was absolutely appalling nothing sincere about the way she conducted herself at all although she did point out the damp in the wardrobe in one of the bedrooms and said we would be better to remove our things so that they didn't get ruined which was candid of her but when this was was raised with actual management we were called liars and told we had caused this! They're idea of fixing the broken bed was to remove broken spars then take others and shuffle them around leading to parts of the bed to dip when any weight was applied. This made for several very uncomfortable nights sleep! Which wasn't ideal when I had travelled 6 hours to be in Sheffield for a 3 day festival! The luxurious" apartment was meant to be a place to unwind and relax getting a good night's sleep after being on our feet all day! We were also lead to believe there would be parking but only 24 hours prior to checking in we were told there was no parking! Which resulted in my brother getting a parking ticket! Just too many problems for a 4 day break away. I am very disheartened after the reaction from the owners had it been dealt with more professionally this could have been an altogether different review but the whole experience was exhausting! If anyone is thinking of booking here I would save your money! To be able to post I have to give atleast 1 star but in reality it's a no star from me! The only plus side is the location although the immediate surroundings are rough it is near to the town centre lots of local takeaways and pubs but that doesn't make up for all the faults and my negative experience here!"
