Had a lovely meal, great service & really delicious food!The Pork Belly Bites & Bao Buns were really really good.The rest of the table also enjoyed their meals - Homemade Chicken Kiev & Hunters Chicken along with a Cheesy Garlic Bread/Focaccia & desserts.Will definitely be back again.

We moved to Brinsley in June and love the walks and people.We decided to try here for Sunday lunch. All six of us were extremely happy with the service and food we will be back for sure it was a brilliant experience.

We have been to the Lion many times & it was lovely.We have also recommended it to many friends, but won’t be doing that again.We went today Sunday 2nd July 2023It was awful been the 40 mins before order taken then waited almost 50mins to get our drinks after I went to bar to ask where drinks where. It took another 45mins to arrive. Then we had to ask for cutlery, then had to ask for sauces.Food was cold swimming in fat.Tables were not clean.Gave up trying to get another drink so paid & left. Outside was also very unpleasantStuff dumped everywhere grass needs mowing it’s just really gone down hill.What a shame.

Wasn't busy which is always a worry . Good job it wasn't really as the only down side was the wait , from entry to getting food was approximately 50mins . The food however was very good the steak was as good as anywhere we'd been before and at 14.99 wasn't to highly priced . Would av prepared proper chips or julienne fries and if there's a prob with its probably wasn't enough , wife ate all of hers which she rarely does so that alone tells me sides next time ( there will be a next time) should have had a starter but choices were limited, all in all good tasty food nice venue , limited starters and little bit too long a wait..Visited a second time service had improved and the steak was as good as the first ...u will be hard pushed to taste better meat

Really nice friendly pub / restaurant 21 of us had a meal here and the service was great from the team all the meals came out within 5 minutes of each other and all was hot and enjoyable.Nice decor and atmosphere would definitely recommend and return...prices are reasonable for the food and drinks...staff very pleasant and friendly.

A lovely village pub with a modern look. The food is exceptional for the price but they can be a little slow bringing food to the table but it gives you time to talk to your friends. You will not be disappointed with the food, drink, friendly staff and pub decor and atmosphere. Small car park which can be a little congested at times as there are lots of waste materials to be thrown away.

Lovely location and service was excellent. Slightly disappointed with the pork belly sunday dinner, all fat. No meat but beef dish and all other items cooked well. Didn't understand the giant bowl, would much prefer a sunday roast on a plate but its different. Will visit again, as other dishes o would like to try

It's a hidden gem in Brinsley, I always wondered what is up that road.Now I know. Nice country pub, good parking, friendly staff, great food, nice place to chill.

Great new menu (October 23), the presentation and flavours are great and you get a good size portion. Would recommend!
