We have been using Royce turf for over 10 years now and they have always been excellent in their service and advice, would never buy turf for anywhere else! 5 star service.

I had 280 mtr of turf from Royce. Turf was falling to pieces. It was falling apart so badly that I ended up loosing 20 rolls. I didn't complain. I ordered another 20 mtrs and was told it will be ready for colection monday morning. I done my traveling only to find out it never arrived. Not only that I was asked to pay £70 over the phone and Royce decided to charge me £140 even though they said clearly £70 over the phone. I call that a day light robbery. Every time I spoke to a manager Karel over the phone to try and resolve this issue I got nasty response. Had the phone dropped on me. Had false accusations and lies to justify this unfair and cruel treatment. I feel disgusted with Royce and would not recommend anyone using them. Never dealt with anyone so rood and ignorant over the phone and never been treated this badly by established company and ripped off in such a way. Very disappointed !

This is first time I’ve used Royce as they were recommended. I have to say I’m please overall with the quality of the turfs. Slightly less impressed with the delivery charge. Although I was asked if I wanted it delivered I assumed as it was only going 6 miles it was free. Wrong it was £48. Had I been told (or remembered to ask) I would have collected the 32 rolls myself. I feel £8 a mile delivery or adding £1.50 per roll is excessive. I would hope that Royce who have a good reputation locally would have been a bit more up front with this charge especially with new customers.In response to RoyceI find it disingenuous to suggest that £48 is an acceptable delivery charge as occasionally it can take over an hour to travel 12 miles because it’s a lorry. This was not a isolated trip, my delivery was one of many and the driver had already been to Kingston by the time he eventually got to me. I actually unloaded the turf myself because he was moaning about his back hurting. I will leave it to your potential customers to view your response and decide if Royce have acted in good faith and treated me fairly.

Appalling customer service. I don't know about the turf but DO NOT use for irrigation system. Within a few months of installation one of my sprinklers developed a leak. I called numerous times trying to get someone out as it was still on warranty. Karen, who would answer the phone, Couldn't or Wouldn't1. Find my address ( I gave it to her every time)2. Pass on messages to service department3. Be Polite on the phone.All she kept asking was if I had a contract. Even when I asked her to send me the details of the contract I didn't receive anything.Still no service.This spring my husband tries, again nothing. He calls again and was told it would be emailed, again nothing. called again and was told it was a new email system and it would be sent out.April 6 I get a letter from Pauline Royce saying they haven't received any payment yet so will not carry out any maintenance. Again I had to state That we had still Not received a contract.One is finally sent out via email.In the mean time written contract finally arrives, wrong address is on it. Frustrated at the incompetence I wait a few weeks to send it back. I also email separately the correct mailing address.A week went by I hadn't heard anything so I wrote a complaint letter to Karen. I received an email from Tim Royce , 31 May, telling me I was schedule for June 7 (no time given) but I needed to pay the invoice before they came out. The day before Royce were scheduled to come out an invoice finally arrives at my house, WITH THE WRONG ADDRESS.I wrote Royce a long email and told them to tear up my contract. I have not heard from them since. No apology for Karen's rudeness or not having the correct address (my address didn't change from when they installed the sprinklers)Not only was the service poor but the work that should have been covered on warranty was never carried out.RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

I bought 65m2 of grass for my lawn the turf was falling apart my lawn is totally ruined I emailed pictures and call many times but was given poor excuse after excuse there after care services is shocking they took my money and don't care about there product very shocking company would never use again I've never dealt with such a poor company try to past blame for there poor product

Specifically ordered and bought a few rolls of their “Regency” shade tolerant turf to patch up a lawn laid with the exact same turf 3 years earlier (also supplied by Royce). I called in person to collect this and was given the rolls to take away. A couple of weeks after carrying out the patching up work it was evident by the colour and texture that this wasn’t the same turf at all. So I now have a lawn that looks really weird. Clearly this company couldn’t care less about customer service.

Great service from Royce, the turf is excellent quality and would never use anyone else for turf again. The guys on site always help you load up. Keep up the good service!
