Very impressive customer service. Soon as I walked in I was acknowledged by member of staff (Richard) who was polite, professional, informative and most importantly he was listening actively before offering any product. Won't go into details but these days in any retail it's all about customer service and this is something I experienced well in this particular store. Well done guys. Please keep going.

Hired a tandem Kayak from these guys after a lengthy conversation with Richard. Had the most amazing 3 hours going up and down the Thames with the dog re living my youth. One thing I will say is do go onto their YouTube channel and watch the videos about getting out and into the Marina and all the other helpful guides

What a great experience we had purchasing a PFD and a very early Christmas present Cag for me. Joel was fantastic, very welcoming, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. It was well worth the 145 mile round trip. Awesome

Well, we're not new to this sport, but never had a boat in our 60+ years on the planet so it's been a real pleasure dealing with these guys as they advise on what we need when buying our first kayak. Even better they have a lot of the kit in their hire fleet so you can try it out as they're situated in a marina on the Thames. They have a good range of kit too and are competitive on price, so junk the online stores and go and support a local business.... please

My wife and I recently visited the store whilst on a kayaking trip along the Thames and we were served by Peter who helped us in deciding on what dry trousers and cags to go for, allowing us to try on multiple pieces of gear and Peter provided his expertise on what gear was right for us, I am looking forward to the colder months when I will be placing my order for some Palm gear to keep us warm and dry, which isn't far off now, thanks again Pete, from Kevin and Sarah.

Really friendly people, very helpful. Minimum fuss. We rented a large open canoe, it was in as new condition. Can't recommend this place highly enough.BTW, the canoeing in this area is not whitewater, in summer it's a lovely bit of the Thames, very little current (most of the time) , and with the odd cafe and pub - great for leisurely exploring. The launch site is in a sheltered area off the river, great if you just want to practice your skills.

This is an amazing, a professional place for all your kayaking needs. We came here on a Saturday morning (09:30am, with a pre booking) and hired two single Kayaks (£40 each) for the whole day. The staff was very professional , friendly and knowledgeable. Once they have given all the necessary information , they set us free :) We paddled all the way up to Hampton Court. It took us nearly 4 hours, including a couple of leisure breaks (includes an hour and half). It was an amazing feeling. Water stream and the breeze were very helpful. Coming back, it took us almost 3 hours, including a 15 minutes short breaks. The upstream paddle was challenging but Fun! We really really enjoyed. It was my first time Kayaking experience and couldn't ask for more. Thank you gentlemen :)
