Yurtshire Fountains

Absolutely loved our week at Yurtshire. We did have issues with our hot tub but the host couldn't have been more helpful in getting it sorted and finding a solution. Loved the 'off grid' nature of the Yurt and enjoyed getting fires going in the hot tub and inside the yurt itself. With it being in Nidderdale and on the doorstep of the dales there is loads to do if you want things to do. would 100% recommend to anyone

Super nice 2 nights away - the team were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy, hot tub was fantastic, as well as things to do locally. Would 100% recommend

The idea of this is lovely and the Yurt is beautiful. It might be better to visit in the summer because it was quite damp and cold inside. Once we put the fire on of course it warmed up but the bedding felt damp and the dressing gown for example. The jacuzzi was lovely but you had to tread in a load of wet mud to put wood on the fire to heat it up. Again I imagine you wouldn’t have as much issue in summer. It was a cloudy night so we couldn’t see the stars so I imagine much better on a clear evening.They ask that you wash all the dishes that we used and strip the bed which in all honesty I don’t think should be requested when you are paying minimum £225 for the evening. All in all I would say this is overpriced and not the best winter experience.

I loved my stay here! The yurts have a lot of privacy because of the trees but it's also nice that there are other yurts and people nearby. Inside the yurt has plenty of space, especially for just 2 people but also enough room with the 2 sofa beds are out for the children which are comfy for them to sleep on.The bathroom with the clear ceiling is such a highlight and the bathroom is very fancy for a glamping yurt!We loved the hot tub, it doesn't have bubbles as its fire powered but we enjoyed this more. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and the BBQ is the best way to cook most of the food on.Really recommend!

We stayed at the new Eavestone Lake site this week and had an amazing couple of days! The yurt is just fab, very comfortable and has everything you need - including electric and a proper shower and loo! We stayed in the Oak yurt which is so secluded and looks out into the trees - the view from the hot tub as the sun sets is stunning! Didn't even notice anyone else whilst we were staying as the yurts are all nicely spaced out so you feel like you have the forest to yourselves - great spot for a bit of peace and relaxation! We'll most definitely be back!

We loved it, it's relaxing and quiet. The yurts are nice and well kitted out with everything you need. It can get chilly but once you get a log fire going it soon heats up. Great for walkers, and animal friendly also perfect if you just if you just want to escape for a bit and relax.No WiFi and we struggled to get signal, but I don't think that is such a bad thing for a trip like this.Their are plenty of attractions a short drive away, although we were happy enough enjoying the yurt and hot tub.

Yurtshire is quite simply a great place to go and relax with family and friends. We had 2 nights and didn’t even leave the yurts which are beautifully decorated, warm and very cosy. Excellent way to spend a few nights away from it all.A very magical experience which left us feeling very chipper about life.

Quite frankly an unbelievable place in a beautiful setting, staff are very friendly and we had excellent service which included our bags being dropped off at the yurt and a full talk through on how to get the best experience in the yurt. The Yurt is very spacious and is full of decorations and a log burner. Cooking facilities and a coffee machine is also included as-well as complimentary kindling, logs and fire starters. Would 100% suggest going. I stopped in the middle yurt called hazel and I’ve never had an experience like it. The fire pit, bathroom and hot tub where all 10/10. The location is also perfect as it is close to lots of national heritage sites such as fountains Abby and briham rock. It is also about 4-5 miles out of ripon so it is easy access into the city. I will 100% be back (hopefully in winter). All round excellent little break, thank you so much to the Yurtshire team, should be very proud of what you have going! :)

We had the most amazing time away at the new Eavestone site in the Hazel yurt. Service was exceptional from start to finish. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and made our stay all the more special. Our Yurt was beautiful, as was the patio area, the wood burning hot tub and having a glass roof on the shower was just the finishing touch. We cannot wait to come back.
