Holistic Therapy at Captain's Den

What can I say Jan is amazing!! I had kore therapy on my first session along with cupping on my second session. Jan identified my “trouble” areas by taking a detailed history and than a full assessment and already I can feel the difference.Jan puts you at ease and fully explains everything, she is extremely knowledgable and gives you advice and exercises to do in between sessions. I would highly recommend Jan and can’t wait for my next session!

Had two myofasical sessions on my back, shoulders, neck and lower legs. The reason for my bookings was serious pain, and reduced mobility.The results have been incredible, I'm like a new man.Jan's approach is very wide ranging offering a complete solution to my back and sholder issues. This was a very different therapy to a typical spa massage treatment.Combining the myofasical release masage with guidance for stretching and posture correction between the sessions has given me unprecedented results. My back and sholders are now pain free with an incredibly refreshed range of movement, and with the stretching and take home advice for stretching and posture excercise it keeps getting better!Can't thank you enough Jan, hopefully this review is coherent and useful to many new customers.Do not hesitate, book with the captains den today. :)

I had a wonderful hand massage at a holistic therapy fair. Jan blended oils specifically for me following a consultation. The hand massage was great but she also massaged my shoulder as she felt that this was strained and tense. She provided advise following the consultation. I would certainly recommend Jan.

Jan was welcoming and attentively listened to my objectives and expectations for my treatment (full body massage). Following consultation she provided an explanation of what i could expect during and after treatment. She blended oils specific to my needs. Jan provided recommendations for my aftercare.My objectives and expectations were met and, I found the massage of great benefit. I've had quite a few back, neck and head massages with Jan now, she has really sorted my back out, mixes various oils to help sort whatever problem I turn up with!!!
