G&R Scaffolding

I rang up today in regards to a work related query and nothing more, I was nothing but polite on the phone as always and the Gentlemen who answered was unbelievably rude to me for no reason and as I was mid way talking he said I am going to end this call now.I am honestly shocked at how they spoke to myself and wonder how they speak to there staff and better yet how they have any staff at all. Would you speak to your customers that way? I would never do business with them in a millions years keep well away!!

I’m just going to preface this with I have not used this company and this review isn’t giving feedback on their service per say. One of my neighbours has used this company to put up scaffolding on their property - I do not know how they were professionally to their customer or the things such as the speed or quality in which they put the scaffolding up. However, the short encounter I have had with the Coventry branch of this team I felt they were highly unprofessional. I was walking my dog to which the three workmen thought it would be so hilarious to beep their horn right as we were in front of the van, which startled me and terrified my dog. The three grown men then preceded to laugh as of course scaring women and dogs is such fun. I found this behaviour to be so immature from a group of what I thought to be middle aged men, and I have to say I really judged their character and professionalism. It made me question their behaviour and integrity, so much so that I have gone to the effort to write a review. I have no idea if other neighbours have had similar encounters, but I’m sure this is something potential customers would want to know about and consider before booking these guys. If the members of the team are reading this comment, while you found that action funny, it really wasn’t. While sat in a van covered in your company’s name please kindly remember that you are representing that company and to be professional at all times.

An indication of how these guys operate.....they drove into the side of my wifes stationary car. Stopped and apologised for the damage, openly admitting fault. But later claimed to their insurance that my wife drove into their lorry and it was all her fault. Photo evidence proves otherwise. If someone lies to your face you know you cannot trust a word they ever say.

Oh look another review because this company are rude, aggressive and generally unprofessional to passers by. Parked horrendously today on Windmill Hill and then aggressive to motorists trying to get past.

Loudly cat calling women that walk past, extremely loud music from early in the morning in residential areas, intimidating and unfriendly. Avoid.

Totally unprofessional avoid like the plague!! The owner Glen is so rude do not know how he’s running a company.When I raised my concerns, like the previous reviews he said he was going to put the phone down!! And proceeded to do so. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

Communication could have been a little better, would have liked to have discussed needs in a little more detail.Overall a good service, went up when it was supposed to and came down within a couple of days of requesting it. Will be using again on future projects

G&R provided scaffolding as part of a contract for work on the front of my house. I then found I needed scaffolding at the back for another job and G&R fitted that in directly with me, taking the scaffold from the front to the back. They were courteous, swift and left the structures feeling safe and secure. Fully recommended.

A good, professional and reliable service has been provided by this company on many occasions. They are very helpful in all aspects of any work that needs to be done. Found their prices to be very competitive.

We had an issue with the placement of the scaffolding which could have been resolved alot more amicably than it was but when I tried to discuss it with G & R I received such an angry and rude response that I was left shaken and shocked. We ourselves resolved the problem eventually by using a bit of imagination but we got no help from them and no apology. When I emailed G & R to collect the scaffolding and let me know a time and day, they failed to reply and just turned up one day out of the blue, parked in my driveway and started dismantling it, without even bothering to knock my door. I emailed them again afterwards and made it clear what I thought of them (admittedly only semi-politely!) and got a response which was, once again, so lacking in customer service skills that it was almost funny. I would NEVER EVER use them again. Their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered.
