I love the economist. But the deliberate obstacles they employ to stop you canceling their subscription is a real shame. You hope a magazine with such high quality content would have more respect for their readers. Just look-up their Trust Pilot score to see this in action. If they wanted to, they could easily introduce a one-button cancellation option on the members area of their website.Also, the online subscription is poor, as it constantly makes you re-login to access articles, defeating the point of the subscription in the first place.

Absolutely awful customer experience trying to cancel subscription...making you jump through so many hoops...and downright refusing to cancel (I had to ask them 7 times!!) It's underhanded and unfair on customers and the Economist should be ashamed of this.
