Vision Express Opticians - Stirling

Experience on the day was absolutely fine but the texts and phone calls in the weeks leading up to the appointment is overkill. 4 texts and 2 phone calls (which I missed unfortunately) just seemed a bit much to confirm one appointment. It would probably be useful if the texts led you to a page where you could confirm rather just only giving you an option to cancel or reschedule

Excellent visit to get eyes tested. Nicola greeted me and generally looked after me throughout the visit. Her professionalism and friendly outlook was of the highest standard and is to be commended. Nicola appreciated my frustration that I had when purchasing a pair of glasses at Vision Express on a previous visit. She listened carefully to my concerns and from the outset wanted to make sure I left the premises a 'happy customer' and indeed I did.Nicola spoke to the manager for me expressing my concerns and frustration and in doing so came up with a most acceptable offer that I was glad to accept. In my view, Nicol went above and beyond the call of duty in the best interest of customer relations and satisfaction and for that reason, as well as her courteous and friendly attitude, she is to be commended because this level of service is not always apparent elsewhere.The lady (Optometrist - Claire I think her name was) who carried out my eye examination is to be commended too. She had carefully read my previous medical history related to my eye sight and fully understood and appreciated my eye sight concerns. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and sympathetic to my medical care and very carefully explained in simple terms a small finding that I should be aware of but not giving her cause for concern and therefore me too. I never felt my visit was being rushed but actually felt that I was important to them.Overall, my visit proved to be of the highest possible standard and both members of staff (Nicola and Claire (?)) are a credit to Vision Express.

Absolutely wonderful service. I managed to break my glasses whilst on holiday and Beth, at vision express Stirling, managed to source replacement frames and place my existing lenses in them. This was done within 24 hours despite my frames not being in stock at Stirling. Really grateful for the efforts made. Thank you. Simon

The optometrist was absolutely fantastic, everything was checked and explained to me. The person who did my last test was great. Really chatty and again made me feel comfortable.The person that did my initial checks was scruffy and not friendly at all. Definitely not customer service focused. Real shame as the rest of the experience was great.

Waited 2 months for glasses. When they finally arrived it was not the frames I had ordered. The lens did not have reactolite as requested. The manager Craig Morrison was completely unhelpful .

I arrived early for my appointment and was taken straight away. Everything was done very professionally and I could not be more pleased with my treatment.

I had both a very thorough examination as well as a personable, friendly experience in Vision Express Stirling today. Greeting and introduction was friendly and relaxed. I was told there was one person ahead of me completing Pre-examination tests, so I could gauge that i wouldn’t be waiting for ages, and I could browse freely or have a seat. Philip completed my pre-examination tests and imaging. I opted for the additional OCT exam on top, it is £10, and probably the cheapest that I had seen offered from private and high street chains. There was no pressured up sell, it was all very relaxed and informative. I already knew about OCT imaging benefits so I was choosing it anyway.Once Philip had completed the pre-screening, I was given a very robust examination by Maryam. The experience again was personable and I felt valued first as a patient as well as a customer and a person. Maryam took me though my images and the OCT - so if you don’t know about OCT, you’ll appreciate that it’s a tenner well spent at the end - and believe me, that technology is not cheap. In fact all of the testing kit was modern and high-end. Their testing spaces were within close proximity to each other, so you could move from one office to another, yet still afforded privacy and were roomy. It was a very pleasant experience all-told and at no stage was there pressure or did I have the cattle-mart experience of other high street chains… I’ve been wearing glasses for nearly 40 years now so have tried a few… I hope to return and give Stirling my business in 2 years time because they’re a team of Utter Legends.

My husband and I both had our eye's done, Graham put us both at ease explaining what would happen. Really friendly staff, so glad that I got my eye's done , no more wearing glasses.thanks to Graham and his staff

Excellent service from Vision Express in Stirling. I would like to thank Maryam (optometrist / store director) and Craig (manager) for looking after me during my visit for an eye test and helped me pick the glasses I bought. Very friendly and professional staff who were helpful through out my visit. Highly recommend Vision Express in stirling
