Ketch Caravan Park

Camped here for 2 nights and couldn't wait to pack up and leave. Run down, tired, health and safety issues because of dismantled caravans and rubbish. Showers and toilets old and not very clean. Lady cleans once a day, however cobwebs, dust, spiders and dead flies lay on every service. No sleep because of overhead bridge and constant traffic. What was once a nice site as I've seen from pictures is now a rubbish dump, altho owners are still taking full payment for staying here. So many beautiful sites around that area charging the same £50 for a weekend I just wish I'd have looked into the place a bit better than I did. Reviewed this site on another platform and manager said they could have sorted my issues. Is a 4 tent pitch so couldn't have moved me away from the bridge .....didn't use the showers or toilets luckily i had my own. As far as the scenic views of what was around me, I couldn't even see the river because of the mountains of weeds and overgrowth that hid it. Watched a fisherman hack his way thru the dense brambles, stingies and shrubs to get near the bank to go fishing. Really poor campsite, they should have paid me!!

Superb location, very welcoming, easy access, well kept. Midweek break in June has been quiet, just what we want.

We went here as a group of us with all tourer caravans.. others in the group had been here before but we hadn't. As we arrived in the site i just thought omg what have we let ourselves in for as it was like a bomb site. Old caravans about the place and some had of the static caravans plots had been dismantled and jus debree and blocks and old trolleys and stuff jus all about the place pretty much like a bomb site. Although I have to say when we drove down to our pitch it was fine. Clean and right by the river. The showers and toilets are not the best at all . All the toilets seems to be leaking water out at the base . Could be kept a lot cleaner and yes that's down to us people using the sight as well. But a good location and only 8 to 10 pounds for a taxi to town. But we had a fab weekend

Lovely week here . Peaceful by the river. Brilliant country riverside walk into Worcester city. Swans on the river are magnificent as is the Cathedral itself. The site is a bit tired but the price is right at £20 a night. Nice long hot shower for 20p and no silly buttons to hold in. Friendly welcome by Donna although a site information leaflet would be nice as would more water taps and at least a bit of drainage for waste water near the vans. Other than that...absolutely great. We will return.

Great location right on the river. Plenty fishing and plenty caught. Weather was wet and although path to the pitch was muddy the pitch was really good - well drained.Didn't use toilet or shower block but friends said they were fine.I believe it's closing the end of this year as needs major work on infrastructure - drains, electricity, etc and when it reopens may not do camping.

Delightful site on the River Severn. Wardens were lovely and welcoming - Marmaduke a delight!Pitch 20 was nice and level. Shower and toilet block spotless - what a shower for 20p!Toby Carvery right behind the site with a Harvester a few minutes walk away.Aldi and B&M next to Toby's.40 - 45 minute walk into Worcester which is a beautiful city.Will return.

Lovely site Donna and Rob were very welcoming site was very quiet runs along the river seven with a walk along the river only taking 30 mins into the city of Worcester, nice hot showers and clean toilets. We will definitely return again and recommend to family and friends. Pitches are nice and flat and they even have a little telephone library if anyone wants to borrow a book to read. Aldi is right next door to so that's nice and handy. Just remember your 20p's for a shower but it's well worth it.

Simple little caravan park in front of the river Severn. Aldi just outside the gate and a pub. 10 minute drive from city centre
