AJ's Farmhouse Furniture

AJ delivered what he promised. We got our stunning table, bench and chairs recently. It's taken a long time, a little frustrating waiting and the comms has at times been poor.The table's mint. Worth the wait for sure!I understand the frustration from some of the other reviews. But this isn't a scam.Been a bumpy ride but in the end a very happy customer.

We ordered a hallway unit from AJ at the beginning of January, and were advised of an 8-12 week lead time. It was delivered two weeks ago. I can’t deny that the furniture itself is beautifully made, and is exactly what we wanted. However, the communication has been lacking apart from regular generic mail merge type emails. I could forgive the extremely long wait (especially during this very difficult year) however the lack of communication is why I have only given 3 stars.

We ordered a table, chairs as well as a bespoke home working desk unit. Originally ordered on 08 Oct, communications were fine until the point of actually ordering and from there have been shocking to say the least.We made it clear we did not need the items for Christmas so provided additional time even though Dec was the original timeline. However even now on 27 Jan the items are still not with us, still extremely lacking communication. I was told i would receive an update every 2 weeks - i've received not one! Currently now working with citizen advice to obtain a refund but my advice to anyone would be to save yourself the hassle and do not order from this company. The items may be lovely if you ever get them but the communication is all but absent so i have no confidence we will ever receive what we ordered.

Great product, really good quality and arrived really quickly!After reading most of the other reviews I emailed AJ to check how busy he was and ask about some of the negative reviews and to see how long it would take him to make an order, with the 3rd lockdown. He kindly got back to me the next day and explained the first lockdown made it difficult so he had a lot of delays, but he was back up and running.I placed the order 8 days ago. Received an email to say it was ready yesterday and it was delivered today.I'm really pleased I placed an order with AJ. I bought 2x coat rack and shelf and they're great quality and really good value as well.It seems some people have had some issues but I hope the rating on here doesn't put people off AJ's furniture. I'll certainly be buying more items.

We placed an order for a custom made hallway unit in February. It was delivered a few weeks back AJ. Yes we had to wait a while and also communication during this time wasn't easy but when the unit was complete and ready to be delivered communication was spot on and I was kept upto date with my order and delivery date and time. Was it worth the wait ? Absolutely - I just love this unit and it finishes off our hallway perfectly. Would I order from AJ again ? Yes 100% and we will be doing as more of our house gets completed. Please be patient - it's worth the wait.

Good quality and very sturdy I'm so pleased I ordered my table and chairs. A couple of days late, but, there was a very valid reason for this. Alan then delivered on xmas eve morning so we could have our Xmas dinner on it. I would order again from ajs. I gave 4 stars as comms could be better.

After almost 5 months it finally arrived- beautifully made, rustic coat rack. As an apology for the long wait and lack of response to our emails we didn't have to pay for it ( Aj's refunded our money last month). This product is very well made and honestly beautiful. I am very happy with it. Aj if you improve on your customer service you will have plenty of happy customers!

We placed our order beginning of February and we have received our table and chairs/bench this morning. Honestly comms can be much better and could be easily rectified (maybe hire an Admin Apprentice). But we stuck it out and waited and we are so so glad we did. The furniture is absolutely stunning and of excellent quality! Delivery was great, we received an email a few days ago with the delivery day and a text message this morning with the delivery window, which was all spot on!

AMAZING!! I cannot fault my hole experience.From start to finish AJ kept me updated with the progress of my table.My table is just what I wanted and takes pride of place in my kitchen. Its a timeless piece that is built to last for many generations. Its a table that will tell a thousand stories in years to come.Cannot recommend AJ and his work enough, thank you so much xxx

Cannot fault this company at all!Aj was wonderful, communication was brilliant and the customer service was above and beyond.We ordered an extending dining table, 4 chairs, a sideboard and a custom coffee table and all are just perfect. Love the rustic-ness of all the pieces and the craftmanship is beautiful. Aj and his partner delivered all the pieces personally and they couldn't have been nicer.
