Lovely comfy room only slight markdown was because of the views we were at the back and woke up to looking at birds either mating lol or bird poo shower wasn't very powerful but bathroom was lovely bed really comfy would book again

Stayed two nights in single ensuite room. Very pleasant stay. Staff helpful. This is an historic building and the stairs, especially to the second floor are very steep. There is no lift. Great town centre location, an easy walk from bus and railway stations. I would happily stay here again.

My stay at the Boars Head Hotel was overall decent. The car parking situation was convenient, but the narrow entrance was a bit challenging. The room, although decent, was marred by old, unpleasant carpeting. The fact that the shower was designed for disabled individuals didn't affect my stay negatively. The price for the night was reasonable, and the surrounding area was pleasant. In summary, it was not a perfect experience, but it wasn't too bad either.

Lovely sporting theme as you go in but then spoilt by dated steam punk decorations...bedrooms could do with a bit more care...but great service and catering...

Firstly I'd like to say staff were amazingly helpful, rooms were a nice size but some of the fixtures and fittings need a little maintenance, door security to the room was very poor as the latch barely held. Good location for town as it was in middle.Car park to rear we were advised it was narrow before we arrived, and sure enough, we had to fold the door mirrors in on our transit but still got in

Great stay here a couple of weeks ago following a night out for dinner and drinks with friends. Room was great and value superb. Only down side was the location - it’s fab it’s in the heart of Carmarthen, but because it was warm the noise from everyone outside meant it wasn’t the best nights sleep. I would go back.

Lovely place to stay. Always friendly staff. Reasonable prices and ideal if visiting carmarthen. Nice breakfast too. Worth a mention, there are some steep stairs so mention that before you book if you have difficulty with stairs.

The most amazing welcome from all the staff. I was extremely late on a train delay but went out of their way to welcome me after midnight. Amazing service and wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended
