Terra Nova Medical Practice

Has been my doctors on and off for almost 30 years. I have seen doctors come and go from the practice. But the service isn't as it was.** Update 27/3/22**I have not seen a doctor face to face since 2019. Told to phone at 8am, your on hold for upto an hour then when you finally get threw your told there are no more appointments today call back tomorrow. Utterly pathetic. They put me on a CMS without my knowledge and sent the prescription to the wrong Pharmacy so I had to re- register for something I never wanted in the first place. Granted the practice manager was very helpful when I complained.

This place is a shambles tried to ask when a certain doctors schedule was then reception who's name is Lisa was so unprofessional after stating this certain doctor was on call only for the next two weeks which I replied if I called the surgey for such doctor would I get services she was not happy I was questing her authority (receptionist not medically qualified) then also stated I don't know where this is going teranova got any patience for patients then abruptly hangs up the phone 24/5/2023

I’ve never had a difficulty getting an appointment here. The receptionists are lovely and the doctors are amazing, especially Dr Greenwood. Social distancing is still in place and you still have to wear a mask as of December 2022.

Sadly this practice's administration has fallen way below the expected standards. The Doctors are first class but getting past reception to see one is nigh on impossible. New rules" seem to com into force at random. Considering leaving."

I tried to register with this practice as a patient and found them to be quite unhelpful. Everything seemed to be going fine until I handed over my Irish passport as ID, which piqued the receptionist's interest (since it's not a UK passport) and this is where the problems began; you're from Southern Ireland?" accompanied by a look of bemusement.I was told they were unable to register me as a permanent patient because I was not currently employed and I didn't have a UK passport. This is despite my having made them aware that I have lived in the UK on a permanent basis since 2009 and I had only relocated for personal reasons and was actively looking for a job.I had with me proof of identity and proof of address in the catchment area

Very good doctors my wife has a brilliant doctor and receptionist staff are really friendly and helpful

Useless receptionist who's idea of resolving an issue they caused is by inconveniencing me further.

After it took 9-10 weeks to get my notes from old GP to this GP they at Terra Nova have been fantastic with me , giving me enough medication to get me by also although I have not yet seen a GP the practice nurses are amazing and not quite done all checks a diabetic should like checking feet etc but that's ok .I need get all meds on repeat and will find out when oh today how helpful they are .all in all good so far wait see if they take my leg and knee pain seriously as some days cannot walk more than 25/30 feet

Been a patient since it has opened , reception are all a bunch of nice staff never had an issue , very disappointed to c dr Mcdonald has left thou , she was a great Dr I'm actually gutted , they seem to struggle to keep their staff , they have 4 drs left that I know , dr easson & greenwood r great but it won't be the same for me without dr mcdonald..

I have been here since the start and you will not find better doctors who can get to the bottom of your symptoms and resolve it, the reception staff have a job to do and hence why they ask all the questions. Yes o don’t like it either but it is what it is and they are polite. These dr are excellent at their jobs and I would definitely recommend it if you can get registered with them.
