My iPad Pro failed to charge or turn on after four years of trouble free use. I contacted Apple and booked in with a local genius. They tested it and confirmed it was not charging but it was not the battery and it was not the charge port. This resulted in them telling me there was nothing else they could do, other than replace it like for like for £497 or, for the current model proceeding to quote me around £900 and then £1200 subject to size. We have another iPad so I thought I'll just leave it and accept this one is likely now a paperweight.The only issue I had was a financial spreadsheet was saved on the iPad and not in the iCloud. Apple said there was nothing they could do to retrieve the file.Given the file issue I looked on line for a reputable and professional company in an attempt to find a fix. One company who advertised a full suite of services actually told me when called, they could not fix my iPad. I looked further afield and came across Acefast. They asked me to drop the iPad in and they would diagnose and report back. Despite being a 110 mile round trip - the website was professional, prices clear, and conversation when called good - so I felt optimistic and made the journey.They called a few days later and said they would need to send it off for a repair/replacement board. They explained this would take about a week and would cost a very reasonable £145. I agreed and off it went.I received an email a week later advising my iPad had been repaired and could be collected.I set off a couple of days later and collected the iPad. It was as good as new, fully working and, had all the data on it prior to failing, including the all important file!So, to summarise, you could say, When Apple says no

Great to have a local company like this to make repairs on apple products. Reasonable prices, quick work and friendly team. Helped us on a couple of occasions over the last few years and have been great both times. Thank you!

Considering I just went to another phone shop for another replacement screen protector and got told I've been over charged for my replacement screen by nearly one hundred pounds wasn't very happy. 24 February. Firstly I've just seen this and yeah no worries I'll have old screen back .I've spoken to phone repair shop and they have said it's guaranteed for 2 years!! And I don't appreciate a phone call asking me about my reviews very unprofessional in my eyes .I do not wish to discuss this any further or I will be forced to involve the police for harassment

Acefast carried out a phone battery replacement. I was kept up to date with progress via email and the job was completed faster than the originally quoted time. Can't see any visible signs the phone has been opened, all buttons and ports are working ok. Would use again and recommend.

I have used AceFast for many years, having taken several iPhones to them for screen replacements.More recently, I’ve avoided breaking my phone! However, my grandma’s iPhone 7 battery had reached the end of its life. I dropped the phone with them around 9:30am, and by 11:10 I had received a message to say it was ready for collection.On all occasions, the team have been pleasant to deal with. Helpful, friendly and polite. Anyone who mentions needing an iPhone repair, I alway recommend these guys.

OMG...After a recomendation I tried calling this company multiple times over two days and left 2 messages for a call back and nothing...not sure this business is still trading but I would be very wary of them if they cant be bothered answering the phone or returning phone calls! Id say avoid.Edit; A message to say they were closed on annual leave would of been helpful.

Called up about a replacement screen for a oneplus 5t, got a call back the same day with a price. Took the phone in and three days later it's ready & working fine. I saved a trip into town which is always a result.

First class service. Definitely live up to their name. First class service from initial phone call to collection of repair.Would certainly recommend them.
