Good for a quick shop. The range is a little limited but then that's to be expected. The staff are always very helpful.

Efficient in and out within 5 minutes if you're after only 1 or 2 items. Options for self-service or assisted service. Great selection of the basics including baked items. Handy bus stop + cash machine directly outside. Easy access beats nearby Tesco Express. Plenty of parking. Halfords nearby if needed for additional spaces. Serves its purpose well. For larger trips, Aldi's an option but much slower. A tad messy upfront, but that's subjective. Overall, a practical spot.

Excellent small supermarket where I get all of the groceries I might need when I can't get to the main shop in the centre of Southend.A good selection of goods, together with professional and friendly staff.

They can serve me alcohol without asking for id multiple times, the same person who serves me alcohol refused to serve me a red bull because I didn’t have my id, why don’t you id me when I’m buying booze but Id me for red bull, it’s just backwards

Good store, easy to swing in to and park at in order to grab bits quickly. Shame about the patronising young lady who works there telling me to place the item in the bag after scanning

The store manager of this shop is very rude, arrogant and not helpful at all . He isn’t customer friendly and Sainsburys should look into this . Very bad service from this store

Always well stocked, love their baked products, the staff are usually helpful, convenient parking in their carpark, the only gripe I have isn't with Sainsbury's it's the people who park in the disabled spot who aren't disabled and don't have blue badges.

The slightly older woman that works there needs to check the policies. Went to buy paracetamol and was told I couldn't buy it as I didn't have my ID with me and I didn't look 25. I am 25 and have no issue not looking my age, but when the legal age to buy paracetamol is 16 years old, she shouldn't be refusing people based on the fact they don't look 9 YEARS older than the legal age. Pathetic.
