The Church of Saint Andrew and Saint Mary Grantchester
Before the television series, this little church was made famous by poet, Rupert Brooke ('If I should die think only this of me there's some corner of a foreign field that is forever England').He lived for a time in Grantchester, while studying at Cambridge.His poem The Old Vicarage, Grandchester finishes with the words 'Stands the clock at then to three, and is there honey still for tea.' I still think of those words and this little church.I visited the church and Grantchester many many years ago, from walking from Cambridge through the meadows. It was one of the loveliest experiences of my first trip to England.

Visited Grantchester where the detective series is filmed with Robson Green a beautiful old church immaculately cared for in the centre of small village and surrounding houses form part of the setting for the series. Worth a visit just to experience the atmosphere
