Kate Pook Photography

Kate came to take pictures of me and of my flower farm. I can’t say that I was particularly looking forward to it…would rather be behind the camera…but, how wrong was I?! Kate is not only a gifted photographer but also a genuine and lovely woman.And when the pics arrived…Oh my, they were brilliant. As I said in my text to Kate afterwards, she even made me look a little bit beautiful!!!Her pictures tell the story of me and of my business so much better than words.Wowzers she is good at what she does.Thank you Kate.

A couple of weeks ago, we did a photo shoot of our family with Kate. She was friendly, lovely, she made us feel very relaxed, it was a pleasant atmosphere with Kate and she managed to get some beautiful shots of us, even with our 2 (not always so cooperative) little ones ! We are very happy with the whole experience, and my husband, who isn't a big fan of having his picture taken, would happily do it again with Kate when the children are a bit older.

Kate is a brilliant photographer. We were so impressed with our maternity shoot that we booked her to do a newborn shoot for us too. Friendly and professional, she was great with my daughter and got some amazing shots, even when faced with a strong willed toddler! Kate has been extremely patient with us throughout and has never put us under any pressure to buy more images. I would highly recommend her!

We booked Kate for our wedding on recommendation, and she was nothing short of brilliant from start to finish. Kate offered a meeting with her prior to the big day to discuss plans and ensure everything ran smoothly, and this was really helpful.On the day, Kate was wonderful to have around - her warm positivity helped our guests relax in front of the camera. She knew exactly what she needed to capture at each point of the day, and was subtle in her approach, never becoming intrusive.The photos we've received from Kate are beautiful and vibrant, they demonstrate her exceptional skills and artistry, and most importantly feel incredibly personal to us. We chose Kate to do a family photoshoot for our Mum’s birthday because of her fun and relaxed style. Kate was very accommodating in finding time for us and coming to the house to make our photos even more personal. Despite being a lot older than her normal family photoshoots Kate was incredibly reassuring, friendly, and imaginative in her shots and made us all feel at ease. We are so pleased with the beautiful photos and know it will be such a special present for our Mum. Thank you! We would love to work with you again in the future.

We were delighted with Kate’s service from start to finish. She completely understood what we needed and her photographs captured the character and detail we we were looking for for our property/interiors. Kate is warm and approachable and really listened. I honestly could not speak of Kate more highly. Her approach of non-intrusive and documentary style photography was exactly what I was looking for as I often feel uncomfortable having my photograph taken, and I loved the editorial quality of her images.On the day, Kate really did go above and beyond to ensure we were relaxed and that every moment was captured perfectly - all of which is evident in the end result. We love our pictures, some of which have been used on the Jesus Peiro instagram, and have received so many compliments on them. I would recommend Kate in a heartbeat and feel very fortunate to have come across her when planning our wedding.

Kate is a sensational person to have as both a photographer and all-round great support and hype-person on your special day. My partner and I felt entirely at ease in her company, were more than happy with her skill and expertise and Kate did a phenomenal job capturing our day at The Larmer Tree Gardens. Not only was her photography top, but Kate continued to provide support throughout the day fetching me drinks and taking time to check in with me when everything was just a little bit crazy.
