Rutland Water Nature Reserve
Absolutely beautiful! So many beautiful spots.Very clean park , lovely walks for all including dogs.Very nice for cycling.Loved it and will go back to explore some more around the lake.

Well worth s visit if birds and nature are your thing. A series of well placed hides connected by a good network of footpaths (some of which are seasonal).

Peaceful place to be at one with nature and during the breeding season you can also observe the beautiful OspreyAmple parking and parking is free when you pay to entre. The cashier gives you voucher to display in your car windowPathways are good for all abilities but can be a little muddy in placesHides are a good size, especially the one with the TV in showing the live feed of the Osprey nestThere are several kinds of habitats and on our visit we managed to spot 42 species of birds

Rutland Water Nature Reserve
A fun filled day riding bikes with friends around the park, took us like 3 hours to go round but was worth it. Recommend your bicycle is in top shape or you can always rent from the shop and they do repairs as well. Great place for family and friends

Rutland Water Nature Reserve
We had a wonderful time at the two nature reserves on Rutland Water. The views of osprey and bramblings were most memorable. It's a great place for all ages. The only drawback is that the paths are only dirt tracks and can be muddy and waterlogged after rain.

Rutland Water Nature Reserve
Good place to visit. It has north beach and south beach with parking. There is a visitor centre with a cafe and toilets.There is a lovely church that just out into the water. You can walk round the outside of it. ( used to be open ) also a boat ride round the reservoir not far from the church... worth a visit... hope to post photos...

Great walking territory with or without a dog ) designated areas are for dogs off the lead). Beautiful scenery bit spoilt by ignorant individuals leaving piles of picnic rubbish and disposable barbecues . Snacks available at some of the car park areas round the Water.

The setting was beautiful. The room was Amazing I've stayed in 100s of hotels and this was o ne of the most comfortable,clean and practical places I've ever stayed. Bed was lush and I've never seen Bath towels that size anywhere. Breakfast was outstanding. Fresh strawberries from their own field ,raspberries, blackberry's. Then a great full cooked English with local pork .The staff were so lovely and professional too .Golf course looked fab . LOVED THIS PLACE. Thankyou to all x
