Rooms and bathrooms needs updating, advertising as a restaurant available but they don't serve food so if you want food its a trip to the pub down the road or or get a delivery. The bed was not comfortable either as could feel the springs on the mattress...

There is no hot water in the shower. How can a hotel not provide the basics?Apart from that, the room is ok.Tip-to park you'll need to provide reception with your car registration.

This place was booked for me while I attended training in Brighton. Let's be honest: the décor is tired, the rooms are basic and the water when showering was barely lukewarm. I stayed there for five days one week and two days the next week and by the end they didn't even clear the bins in the room. One of the two rooms I was given stank of paint. On the other hand, the location was perfect, the staff were perfectly nice and there was free parking. A double room for £45 a night in Brighton what's not to like?

Spent 4 nights here on a work trip. Rude staff, rude owner. Showers have no pressure on them so cannot take a shower. Everyhing is very outdated and dirty. Wifi is useless. Not worth the £40 a night they were advertising outside.

Owner should be ashamed of themselves. Everything is substandard, from the internet speeds, to the cleanliness and maintainemce of the building. Windows that don't close properly, cars parked outside that look like they haven't been moved in 18-months. Showers that are only very hot or very cold. Will end up on one of those trading standards/hotel inspector shows eventually. Again, owner should be ashamed of themselves, tempted to report to trading standards myself. Suspect some positive reviews here are fake.

Medium size carpark but there's also cars that have been there for along time ! Its free parking which is rare for Brighton as long as you register when you check inStraight forward check sign paperwork get keyNo info givenRoom was ok nothing special for the price paid .I've stayed here a few times in the yearsNothing changed at allNo fan in the room as was hot but no luck at reception either! No blind in the shower roomThe room was spaciousAs was the shower roomBed was comfortableWiFi goodShower was hot but no power behind it like a dribble! No food being served, there's a few pubs along the road which do food .Its a 45 minute walk to the beachGood running spots nearby and a large park too .Would stay again if nothing else in the area !

Quite simply, this feels like a 5 Star hotel.Clean, quiet and a true period establishment. Forget Travelodge etc. This is twice as good for half the cost. All the staff bent over backwards to assist me as a disabled person. The manager even helped fix my car that had broken down.

The room we got was not the room I believed I was booking. We got twin room with 2'6 bedsNo air con, just a floor can that circulated very warm air. Windows couldn't open because of scaffolding outside. No breakfast was included, £9.50 extra.Thought I was booking 1 rm 2 double size beds. Air con and breakfast included.

Blonde lady behind the till who looks like some alien out of Star Wars was extremely rude and unpleasant, wasn’t the happiest chap when I encountered her rudeness. Showers don’t work and you can hear conversations and footsteps from other rooms. Can see why this has low reviews because it is rubbish.
