ibis London Luton Airport

A family room booked for a couple with a 6-month old baby was in the following shape:- Despite sub-freezing external temperature, the room was unheated, 15°C when we entered.- After 8 hours of heating set to maximum, temperature increased to only16°C, primarily from our still warm bodies.- the carpet rotted and smelled as it was deeply drenched, hopefully in water and obviously for a very long time.- the water in a bathroom was warm in the evening but only freezing cold in the morning.At the reception we were told that nothing can be done to improve the horrendous conditions as the hotel was fully booked and if we stopped the heating entirely the temperature might increase (?!)This is not only a hotel review but a question to this nation as to how can such appalling conditions be tolerated in a London hotel, in the first world country. Does this mean that the lawlessness reigns and anything goes? This establishment should be permanently closed and criminal charges pressed before any babies die in the horrendous and hazardous, medieval, far below third-world conditions!

Great location next to the airport. Very clean and tidy. Also a great friendly atmosphere when we arrived. A lot of other hotels could learn from this one! We would certainly stay here again next time we are flying from Luton.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable.Had shower gel and shampoo.It had kettle with free tea and horrible black coffee :DBest part is the location near the airport by foot 10min if you have early flight.In the room no airplane noise from 10pm to 6am.NO EU electricity socket! Only UK sockets and some USB-a

Outstanding hotel! Small bar/restaurant with limited choice of dishes, but everything I had was delicious! Hotel had nice and quiet, warm atmosphere. Perfect place to take a break for an 6.30 am flight after travelling 400 km across England, for a whole day. This is my second stay at this hotel and I would warmly recommend it to anyone flying from Luton Airport. Hotel is a walking distance away from the airport terminal (for people with a wheel bags or backpacks only) which a real rarity among affordable airport hotels.

First impressions are not good - smokers by the door etc and an all purpose reception area.The rooms were sensibly laid out and very comfortable.The bar was actually quite nice. We were told they served food until 10 - by 9.45 it was snacks only but they were happy for us to order Uber Eats to the bar area.I arrived feeling very sceptical but left having slept well.It is a 10 minute walk to the airport but there are Taxis outside.

The room was dirty with stains on the carpet and what looked like dried vomit.Breakfast was overpriced and disgusting. The sausages had clearly been reheated - the outside was dry like a crust. The food was cold. There was no white bread available. The jams had crumbs and butter in them where others had used a knife… no spoons were provided.I would never stay there again.

I had a great experience in Ibis Luton airport having a very comfortable stay and an excellent hospitality.I stayed there only for one night as I had an early flight the morning after.The classic room is spacious and very clean.The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, ready to satisfy every request.I really enjoyed being there and I strongly recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay very much.Rodrigo at reception has a great energy and is super helpful.The highlight of this hotel is the young, friendly front of house staff.Housekeeping department are also very nice.The only thing is that I found the back of the toilet seat quite dirty and the corners of the bathroom were not cleaned properly.

Not a nice experience with this hotel, the room couldn't get warm enough (the heating didn't work well), the bathroom had a bad smell and was heated from the room, so I couldn't even take a shower because of the cold. The TV wasn’t functioning, too. The room was well equipped with an iron and dryer, but overall I concluded it was a bit better standing there than outside. The guy at the reception said the room will soon get warmer, but it did not happen until morning. It’s close to the airport, but the smaller price indicates the poor quality.

It was the cheapest hotel room in the Luton Airport vicinity. Located within walking distance from the airport ,what is great. Unfortunately -paper thin walls didn't allow to fall asleep easily so I woke up not rested at all. I could hear TV & people talking in the room next to. Bed was ok, so it was bathroom.
