Collingham Dental Practice

Highly not recommended for service. The prices are ridiculous.He knows i just wanted extract one teeth but he do for me X-ray and after I heard price 941 pounds for just this one teethI will find company to claim this scammer!

I have a real phobia of Dentists.However this practice managed to absolutely terrify me in the space of 20 mins!! £895 to remove a tooth!!!! x-ray £80 new patient fee £66 with a consultation fee of £85 Total - £1,126Was numbed and sent back into the waiting room where i was asked to settle the bill. When i questioned the £895 ( for extraction ) i was told that was the price the computer generates and was correct/ i left numb and £240 poorer - with a whole new phobia!!!Their business and they can charge what they like …. however a little more transparency before you numb someone would be far more professional!!!Interesting they have no prices on there web page .I would go elsewhere and treat yourself to a night at the Ritz with the changeI would urge Collingham Dental practice to be far more transparent about there extortionate rates or better still fall in to line with other private practices.Dreadful experience

Just moved to Collingham and my wife and l signed up for this dentist. Initial appointment £66 each. I was there 10 mins no check up just tried to sell me a bridge for my missing teeth £4/5k. Then charged me £80 for 2 X-rays. My wife was in for 5 mins and refused X-rays.Will not be returning the worst service I have ever received.

All the five star ratings seem to be fake on here - every single one has only every posted one review which is highly suspicious.Anway - Very disappointed. I visited without checking the reviews prior, however I must agree that it is over priced and you are pushed to have treatments you don't need.I had two fillings at the back that apparently needed replacing, which in my opinion were fine, but I trusted the opinion of the expert, and now doubt whether I should have as I am suffering from toothache with the change.The dentist literally glanced in my mouth and made an assessment, didn't check tooth by tooth of log any signs of decay which my previous dentist did.Three fillings and a scale and polish cost £900. I didn't even receive the scale and polish within my treatment which for the price, and the 25 minutes I was there for, is terrible.

Booked in with my daughter and paid a deposit, during initial conversation I discussed we would be coming from her school in newark and might be a couple of minutes over the time. Twice I was contacted to say there wouldn’t be a dentist available for the pre booked appointment and it was pushed back. Attended the third appointment 6 minutes after the appointment time having coming out of work and collected my daughter from school. No dentist there, told us he had gone because we were late. No one had called to warn us of this. I can’t comment on the quality of dentistry care as we didn’t make it that far but in terms of initial customer care and communication- very poor.

Out of the five appointments me and my partner have made here, the dentist has only turned up for one of them; one cancelled on the day when we were already at the dentist, one on route to the dentist (despite calling day before to confirm), one cancelled with 48hrs notice and another cancelled on the morning of the appointment date.The best part of this dentist is the receptionist, Richard, who despite the complete lack of care from his boss, deals with situations in the best way possible.For information our one appointment here was for a general check up, x-rays and cleaning (for one) was in the region of £300-400.

These people must be laughing at everyone that sets foot in through the doors. £132 registration for me and my husband (basically to stick your name on a computer). A 2 minute fumble round and X-ray for both of us £314. So nearly £450 for doing absolutely nothing. Then get slammed with a dental plan for both of us added up to £3000. Couple fillings each. Just utter garbage. Asked for registration money back, couldn’t even be bothered to call us to discuss this with us. Ignorance is bliss when you’re ripping people off.

Sadly I didn't read the reviews first I am sat here in tears. They took £66 in advance but I had broken a front tooth whilst visiting. I waited 30 mins saw a very rude dentist who told me I needed 4 crowns at huge cost. I said I couldn't afford it so he said pay monthly I don't have enough income for that. He then asked if my partner would pay. I asked how much a filling was £295!!! I was a dental nurse and if someone can for you in the next day for that amount of work I question why they have no patients. I had to just walk out I felt so uncomfortable like he was a double glazing salesman. I would give 0 if I could . Now I will have to wait until I return home. Oh x rays were more expensive on top and I only saw my dentist 5 months ago and none if this was mentioned.I've now been to my own dentist one small filling required not even an injection needed. This guy is definitely untrustworthy. Check up , clean and repair £140 with a proper dentist

I have been taking my kids to this practice for several years and I am very happy with the care we receive. Richard who is on reception is always super friendly and helpful. I always ask to see the dentist who is called Demetri. He has always been lovely with the children and I visited last week. I was convinced two black marks on my front teeth would need crowns or something like it, but he removed them. I was really delighted.In the past he has always explained options well.I have seen mixed reviews and years ago there was a dentist there that I would not recommend. He has left. If you ask for Demetri you will be fine

I visited this dentist and was told I needed a number of fillings totalling £1700 including the appointments. Having thought this was expensive compared to what my partner paid at another practice I booked another check up elsewhere. The other practice advised I needed two fillings compared to the six advised by Collingham and stated “they cannot see where the others are needed”, they also completed X-rays (which were included in the appointment fee, no extra cost). The second dentist totals £419 including a clean. I would be very wary of using Collingham.
