Furniture Village - Milton Keynes

My Husband and I spent a long time in the store deliberating over what colour sofa to choose. Frank was so helpful, giving us advice, taking us around the store giving us examples of different materials and colours and was very patient.We chose a colour in store, however a couple of days later I text Frank to say I was worried about my choice. He quickly called me back and I asked him if we could change the colour even though the order had already gone through. I knew this might be against the company policy, however He said ‘leave it with me’A day later, the order was updated with the new colour and my mind is now at ease. It was so refreshing to see someone actually do what they said they would and go above and beyond.Great service from Frank - thank you so much!

Awful quality sofa we brought but have been told there's nothing wrong with it when there clearly is problems we have had an inspection by the company and the report said it's fine as you can see by photos it's not we are unable to resolve this problem with them waste of £3000 pounds

My mum and I came into the Milton Keynes store today and was greeted by the lovely Rochelle. She was very patient and attentive to my mums needs due to her disability. There was no selling pressure and very helpful with any extra add on’s. Mum came away feeling happy and excited for her new purchase to arrive. Thank you for your help Rochelle, it was a pleasure!

Visited the store yesterday and after being left to make our own decision, we asked Frank for some advice, he was helpful, friendly and we felt welcomed. After checking measurements we returned this morning and Frank gave up excellent customer service with lots of helpful hints and tips on the care of our new sofas. We will definitely be returning in the future .

This company are professional con artists & will say anything to get a sale!In July of 2021 we purchased a very expensive sofa and were told if we ordered on that specific day we were in store, we would definitely, 100% receive our order before Christmas. They stressed the importance of ordering that day!! If it wasn’t that day we would not receive it by Christmas!!I explained to the sales advisor that other stores said no one would be receiving deliveries before Christmas as there was a big hold up and he told us not to worry Furniture Village can promise we will have the sofa by Christmas.Low & behold we didn’t receive the sofa by Christmas, each week of December the delivery would get delayed further & further & we didn’t actually receive the order until the end of January. The sales advisor would not return our calls or explain anything to us, we would only receive updates from the delivery company which is so unfair & unprofessional.My elderly parents were over from Spain & we didn’t have anywhere to sit comfortably, they eventually had to stay at my sisters house which was an hour away.We were also convinced in store to purchase insurance, we are always wary with add ons but were assured any wear & tear was covered including pet damage again he stressed everything was covered.Upon claiming on the insurance recently we have now been told only specific damages are covered & basically again we’ve just wasted more money on false promises.This company has reduced me to tears for the amount of stress caused over that Christmas period and now to be told we can’t claim the insurance is actually heartbreaking. We’re in a cost of living crisis and they’re taking advantage.

Needed a few items of furniture for our new house. Had spotted a dining room table a few months ago and was pleased to find it in the sale. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Stephen Cooper helped us by answering many questions about the table and chairs. We were also after a sofa and a bed. Both of which Stephen was able to help us with and, in consultation with other colleagues, we were able to get a very good deal on all 3 items of furniture. Bonus in that they will be delivered by Christmas. Staff also kind towards our two children. Very good experience all round.

Prasad was very helpful and friendly and was able to answer all our questions about mattresses and wardrobes. He helped us choose what we wanted. Noone was pushy.For disabled customers there is a low threshold main door and a lift to the first floor.

My husband and I went to Milton Keynes branch to buy 2 leather sofa's. We saw Stephen Cooper. Such a lovely guy. Made us both feel at ease. Made us a coffee before we went through all the paperwork. Very knowledgeable about all the products and advised us on how to protect the Sofa's. Went through all the paperwork and Explained everything in a professional manner. We had great customer service at the Milton Keynes branch. Our sales advisor was Rochelle Hayden but we were also helped by Peter and Frank, all very helpful. Everything was explained very well to us and Rochelle took on board what we were looking for and found us the right products. We ordered a corner sofa, armchair and dining set. The prices were really good and fabric options on the sofa were great. We loved that the sofa was customisable so we could add extra seating. We don't complete on our new build for a few months but the team honoured the current sale price and were very flexible on delivery to suit our completion date, which isn't yet fixed. Rochelle was very personable and we were offered tea/coffee etc, nothing was too much hassle. Will definitely return!
