Lovely lunch. I had the Italian meats and cheese platter. Just the right amount of bread and crackers for everything. Parents had Prawn, bacon and avocado salad which was tasty and filling.Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Had a fabulous lunch there with my elderly mother. Their prawn sandwich was full with a crazily indulgent amount of prawns. Want to try their breakfasts & Sunday Lunches next. A real gem!

So glad we found this little gem , not just excellent tea & delicious cakes but lovely lunches and varied and interesting menu with good sized portions , young staff friendly and eager to ensure a good experience will be going back soon

Edited after wonderful response from owner. - My Eight Six year old Mother asked me to leave this review as she was a bit frustrated about not getting a separate bill and have discussed with her. The food was very goodOnce again thanks for the response, it really is very thoughtful and sorry to have troubled you. Sons love their Mothers! and protect, I would have popped in to discuss but far awayHappy New Year!

The tea room had a decent selection of food and an extensive, delicious menu of various hot chocolate flavours. Very tempting but at £5 per drink, a family of four will be spending £20, before food, for an average size drink that lacks the wow factor on presentation.The food is ok quality but not of a higher standard than other tea rooms, therefore I feel it doesn’t warrant the high prices (approx £15 for ham, egg and chips) (EDIT £11.50 - it was approx £30 for lunch for 2. 2 x ham, egg and chips, a coffee and a water (bottle))Although a fairly decent tea room, the high prices (in comparison to alternative venues of similar quality) would stop me returning again.Edit - thank you for your response to my review, I try to provide reviews that reflect my honest opinion, however appreciate that others may find the pricing acceptable and have a different view. Also, with the currently climate, I appreciate the need for higher prices that you, as a local business, may need to charge to cover the increasing cost of providing a service and I wish you all the best, as many people clearly enjoy visiting your cafe.

Popped in on the off chance, as heard great things about this place and was in the area. Had a fabulous meal with tea and latte. Great food and drinks, great value for money and the staff are very friendly and courteous. Our waitress was Mel who was absolutely lovely.Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed 5*

Had many a lovely meal in but I was on my own and didn’t have long so I had a bacon sandwich . BEST BACON SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!TakeawayHonestlyAlso take away coffee laughs in the face of those others
