I took my car here for a free repairs check as I had a few noises that’s was a worrying me . Being only a few weeks before mot I wanted to get these checked out and fixed . Dropped off the car no problem really friendly people ! Made me feel reassured as being my first car I hadn’t really been to many garages in the past .Was told a time to go and collect and was ready on time . Sadly the news was very bad but the whole team was very apologetic about having to give me such bad news and made me reassured with honest opinions on what to do next . As the repairs wasn’t worth doing due to it being a very old / low value car they advised me to scrap . Even mentioned how to find a good scrap company !Not once did they ever make me feel pressured to get the work done . In fact not once they said about repairs as soon as I went to pick up they told me the honest truth ! If they was only there for money I would have been pressured in getting stuff fixed which I wasn’t at all . Because of there help I was able to start searching for a new car which I now have ! After knowing how much my old car needed doing to it I’m defo going to take my new one here at least once a year to have a free repairs check to keep up with things!Thanks so much everyone at kings Lynn Halfords garage !!

If I could give no stars I would. Two complaints really- a few years ago I had booked a MOT with them I turned up handed over the car and waiting in the cafe for 3hours, only to then be phoned and the lady said they wouldn’t have time to work on my car today, it was a joke. I gave them them the benefit of the doubt and I asked for a refund. Fast forward to yesterday when my partner had booked his MOT there (I had already warned him). I took his car in for him while he was working and as I’m pulling up to the garage I get a phone call from them saying I can’t have my appointment as there was a glitch on there website. Apparently it happened to another lady there yesterday too!! I asked what they would do about it but nothing apparently apart from a refund. THANK GOD FOR KWIK-FIT. They got me in straight away after and stayed later to helpMe out! I would suggest everyone reading this goes to Kwikfit instead.

Great service and got us back on the road quickly. Highly Recommended and gave excellent advice.

My car failed its MOT and the remedial work was quoted at about £650. I called F1 Autocentres and was quoted £260 including a re-test.

Booked service online at an auto centre because of size of vehicle,put all details in to get quote and it showed that this was a motor home, gave quote and accepted payment.after travelling about 20 miles phone rang to say motorhome was to big.they should not have accepted my payment in the first place but they did,they could have called day before or two hours before appointment to save journey but didn't.have it will take up to 5 days for a refund ,was going away but have to cancel as itneeds a service due to only just purchasing. Really wouldn't give one star but doesnt give the choice.Keith

Booked in for 8.30am on Saturday morning for my MOT so as to not affect my working week. Was called at 5.30pm the night before I was supposed to be there to tell me the emmisions testing machine had broken and they had placed a call foe it to be repaired hopefully Monday, they had to cancel for Saturday but would call me by the end of the day Monday to let me know if the machine had or hadn't been fixed. No call by 5.50pm on Monday (10 minutes before close) so I called them, I listened to hold music until 6.25pm at which point I hung up as it was pretty clear no-one was going to answer that far past 6pm but the call had not been disconnected by them. I called again at 10am on Tuesday and managed to get through, the gent on the phone then told me that they had absolutely no ETA on when the machine could be fixed, no guarantee it would even be this week! He then also said that the machine had been broken for OVER A WEEK (meaning likely the Monday before my MOT was booked in) yet nobody had bothered to call me until the night before my MOT was due. By the time they told me they actually didn't know when they would be getting fixed I was 3 days from running out of MOT! If I had been called when the machine first broke I would have had around 2 weeks to arrange somewhere else to be tested instead of 3 days! Customer service was NOT what I expected from such a large company. I was given a refund and sent on my way to find another garage. I know there is nothing they could do about the machine being broken but the way the situation was handled was appalling and left me in a really tricky position and potentially with no vehicle to use if I can't find another local garage to help between now and Friday!

Another amazing MOT experience. They told me about an offer to save £10; even though if already booked full price online, they let me take advantage of it by signing up and refunding me.Was told I'd be about an hour, they were actually 10 mins early & they walked me through my advisories in a way I could understand. I'm not car savvy.Couldn't be happier, which is why I keep coming back. 10/10

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had 4 tyres changed, prices were competitive and the work done within the hour.A week later, I was back for a MOT.Will I be back?. Yes sir.
