We stayed on the 'Sunday stay over' deal..DBB& a bottle of (good) wine for £86.00. It was excellent! We had a really warm welcome from Aggie & Liz, a standard room with lovely fluffy towels and loads of hot water. The dinner was good as was the substantial breakfast....with proper coffee from a coffee machine! Excellent service, excellent value. Thank you, no other hotel could match such wonderful value.

Great hotel ideal for city centre and railway station. Quiet location with all the required facilities including a small gym onsite and bar. Food is available in the evenings but you can also find restaurants nearby. Breakfast is straightforward and plenty of choice. Friendly staff are really helpful.

We arrived in the night cold raining n our other booked hotel was not too accommodating we desperately needed a room for the family n Liz was outstanding Since Legacy was booked she started helping us n calling nearby placesWhen she realised our situation she managed one small room they keep only for emergencyLiz n her colleague at night were exemplaryTheir professionalism combined with a touché of humanity makes legacy worth while to stay

Lovely Hotel. Easy free parking. Lovely greeting on arrival. Room was fantastic. Bath/shower. Large and very comfy bed. Big windows and light and spacious. Breakfast was included. However. When going to the breakfast room I arrived at 6.40 am. I was surrounded by staff and hounded out of the Breakfast room saying that was not open to 8. All I wanted to do was get a coffee as peoe who work who pay for Breakfast have to start work at 7a.m so always miss out on a Breakfast that they paid for Was extremely annoyed that staff could not be flexible and realise this. So. Really the cost should be refunded of Breakfast when Breakfast is at a time unavailable for peoe who have to work !!!!!

Located in Preston city centre a stones throw from the main shopping area. Staff were all helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. There is a gym for hotel guests with a reasonable selection of equipment but lack of maintenance is evident with the very noisy exercise bike and a treadmill that also lacked TLC with an intermittent sticking belt. Each of the floors has a nice viewpoint with a seating area and there is also a restaurant within the hotel which I cannot comment on as I didn’t dine there. This is the second time that I have stayed and when in Preston again I will return as overall its clean and very good value for money, particularly if you book in advance.

The Legacy is a great hotel with exceptional value for money. Competitors in the same pricerange have absolutely nothing on this hotel, with a bar open til 2am, very good breakfast available, and lovely reception staff. Highly recommend.

Hotel reception woke me up two hours before my alarm on Saturday morning to ask me if I could move my car by lunchtime, out of the space they told me to park it in the night before (in 6 hours' time). I wish it were possible to leave a no star review.

Very basic no fridge in the room, no electric socket beside the bed to charge the phone, most of the light lambs are not working, the breakfast is very poor coffee machine is not working.I canceled my booking after one day and left to another hotel
