Had boxed cream tea for 2.Contained 2 scones, 2 pots jam, 1 small pat of butter, 1 small portion clotted cream.Very stingy for £10! Barely enough cream for a thin coating on each scone, and only enough butter for one scone. Need more cream for it to be a Cream Tea ( the clue is in the name).Did like the fact you could have any hot or cold drink with it, not just tea.

Lovely little spot to waste a few relaxing hours, good selection of food, coffees and ice cream. Staf are lovely too

Stopped here for a coffee. Well what can I say, I have had some bad coffee in lots of places but this has to be the worst coffee I have ever had . I ordered a cappuccino what I got was brown warm water with a bit of froth on top and some chocolate sprinkle on that the only flavour I got was chocolate I only tried 2 sips and that is enough for anyone what a rip off !! I won't go again and I will tell people of my experience.

Always open it seems, even when we find the three or four kiosks at the other end of the lake are closed at less popular times. Coffee is always perfectly drinkable, the 99 softie ice-cream is really nice, their cakes are good as well.We stopped for chips and hot dogs once and they were good. Nice seating around the kiosk and a great place to keep an eye on kids playing in the sandpit.

Great place to sit and have a nice cup of tea and some home made cake. Staff are happy and nothing is a problem.

Lovely place, beautiful setting with great sandpit area for children. Food lovely and well priced. Only downside is they don't take card, a real shame as it would rate 5* if they did .....
