Maria Atherley Sound Therapy

Maria is such a warm sunny spirit who instantly puts you at ease. In her little garden temple she has created an oasis of peace where she gives her treatments or should I say works her alchemy! I honestly think she has magic powers! She is so easy to talk to and every session is a unique, bespoke experience but always deeply healing, nourishing and relaxing. She's a wonderful guide in all things spiritual, and very nurturing in the smallest of details, getting you set up and tucked in just right. Her sound journeys are incredibly powerful, during one I felt the pain I had been experiencing in my ribs literally dissolve in a rush. I love working with her and can't recommend her enough ☺️

I have had the pleasure,over the last couple of years, of attending sound baths and healing sessions with Maria both in a group setting and on an individual basis. Each time Maria's space and personal welcome is warm, genuine and very caring. You feel like you have ' come home' as soon as you walk in.Maria demonstrates total integrity with all her customers. She has a very powerful presence, is an avid listener and can quickly tune onto what you need.I have found all my group sessions pitched as if I was the only one in the room. I had the wonderful experience of a sound bath with Maria this week. It was so beautiful and powerful. We had cacao ceremony first and then went into the sound bath. The vibrations and sounds of the instruments hits you on a very high frequency level and I could feel my whole body vibrating. A wonderful experience. Thank you so much

After experiencing protracted period of stress & overwhelm recently and having heard only good things about the benefits of sound therapy and moreover the expertise of Maria. I decided to place my trust in and invest an hour or so of my time with her to see if it helpedI wasn't disappointedMaria is very easy to talk to and I immediately felt at ease. The sound bath therapy itself was without doubt one of the most relaxing experiences of my journey to date. To say I felt physically lighter" let alone mentally and emotionally afterwards would be an understatement given that 2 days in I still feel more chilled than I've been in a very long timeWas it worth it? ... If you’re considering trying Maria’s services and it’s your first time with this kind of thing - DO IT! You will not regret it! Maria is one of the most calming empathetic people I have met and I can’t think of anyone more suited to the job they do. You know when people say talk to yourself like you would a friend, put your own oxygen mask first etc etc? Maria does all that for you when you need it and can’t do it for yourself, and helps you see how to do it yourself. She will look after you and get you back to kindness from day 1.If you are already familiar with the kind of work Maria does and you are looking for something new, well done you’ve found her!Even if you aren’t going through anything in particular Maria can help you with improving your daily life experience and help you see there’s so much more out there. Maria has been in my life since December 2018 and has supported me through alot of difficult times in many different ways, at different times of year. Maria has helped me see it’s not always summer and it’s not always light and that we need to work with Mother Nature and the Moon. I’ve learned so much. I experienced a wonderful (my first) sound bath with Maria today in her calming garden temple. Maria made me feel totally at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed this unique therapy. I left feeling completely zen followed by a wonderful feeling of uplift and positivity later in the day. I cant wait to return to sample more of her healing work!

I have had the pleasure & honour of working with Maria over several years. It has been beautiful to watch her power grow over her own journey & I am forever grateful for her support on my journey.The space she holds is wonderful and safe, calming and empowering. Maria works with you as an individual and ensures you get the right experience for what you need. She will guide and push you to do the hard work if is time and support you all the way but there is plenty of opportunity for soothing and healing whether it be through sound, cacao, breath or whatever you need to try. Maria is truly my angel of the north I’ve experienced great results from my sound baths and meditations which has personally help me to rejuvenate my health, including bereavement treatment, self love and awareness. I’m so very relaxed during my sessions, fully able to let go of any internal stresses and feel calmness restored along with reenergising happiness. Highly recommend Maria.
