The Gym Group Kidderminster

Honestly disappointing. When I first joined, it had one cleaning station which quickly disappeared and now, not only there’s no anti-bac spray available, but the equipment is not being cleaned either, no matter what the staff say. We started bringing our own spray and cloth and the way it looks like at the end of the session, after using 3-4 machines is actually beyond nasty (photo included). I’ve never seen a cleaner clean anything else apart from spraying toilets with soap and leaving it dripping wet. The equipment is not being checked or looked after either. Things not working properly, battered equipment… I understand it’s a budget gym, but due to the amount of people paying for the gym, it shouldn’t be such a hard work to upkeep and do basic maintenance and cleaning.EDIT: you can copy paste your response all you want but the fact is that the equipment is NOT being cleaned no matter what you say. If my cloth is black after a single swipe then that says something, no? Use your common sense and look into the issue instead of copy pasting same responses. I worked out in many different budget gyms in different counties and this is by far the dirtiest, most disgusting gym I’ve ever seen and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The staff are amazing, particularly Leon and Dawn who will always provide thier time, knowledge and support to get you where you need to be! The classes are great, again the ones facilitated by Leon and Dawn are always fully explained and more importantly they will correct movements to ensure no injuries are sustained. I have had PT sessions with Leon and I can't thank him enough for the encouragement he provides and highly recommend him to others!

Been attending the The Gym Group Kidderminster since June 2022 and I’m still here (which is a first for me). Clean, tidy and friendly atmosphere. I feel the gym is very much a community. I’ve only been training at the gym since January and I feel really at ease in there. The members are all friendly and the staff are great to. Dawn one of the PTs there is always friendly and nothing is never too much trouble. The staff are always up happy help. The gym is absolutely spotless to totally recommended

As a pro cyclist, it is essential that I have access to the best training equipment and I am able to train in a clean environment.The Gym Group Kidderminster is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to in over 20 years. The equipment is top quality and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful.Genuinely cannot praise this gym highly enough. I wouldn’t even consider another gym in Kidderminster now.

Love they gym group in kidderminster, found staff great, especially Charlie she's gives me advise regarding my arthritic joints and as helped memodify movements, first class trainer.

Good free weights area. Free parking, and WiFi. After going today, I've noticed there isn't any weight racks where you can put your weights back when you've finished with them.Nice and clean gym but saying that it only opened yesterday. The showers aren't power showers and the changing rooms are cosy.The place is like a Fort with the amount of times you have to enter your code... To gain entry, to leave, to access the showers!Overall, a great gym for the price!

Overall a good gym, really glad to finally have a gym with 4 cable machines, only problem I have is there being just one area with deadlift pads but staff are happy for you to deadlift on the floor next to this. Been to about 6 gyms and this is by far my favourite, mainly because the staff are so helpful and nice to talk to.Update: a row machine which you could attach attachments onto would be the finishing touch.

On the evidence so far this is one of the worst companies in the UK.Online payments do not work, and the order page does not accept any alleged 'promo codes' you put in.Furthermore, a trainer is supposed to contact you to arrange an induction but they just don't, (and before you have it you can't access the gym).Just utterly incompetent.Don't be fooled by the low price.It really is a case of you get what you pay for""
