My GSD Basil was treated this afternoon by vet Pat. We are visiting from Essex and last night Basil became very itchy. Not knowing the area or any of the local vets, I chose this veterinary practice due to it's very good reviews and we were not disappointed. Thank you so much for fitting Basil in at short notice and for taking good care of him. The staff were all very helpful and polite and vet Pat is what I call an old school vet........very knowledgeable, professional and doesn't try and up-sell products. Basil isn't keen on the vets and Churnet Valley Vets made a very stressful situation a more pleasant experience.

Our vets for the past 22 years and simply the best! Friendly, helpful staff, very knowledgeable and reasonable prices too. Everything is explained and no costly options are forced on you- they genuinely care about the animals they treat and are not all about the profit to be made. I highly recommend Pat and his team.

Churnet Valley Vets are always happy to help me with everything I need when it comes to the health of my pupper! They are so friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate you. The staff are so knowledgeable and I find their prices to be very reasonable

Excellent-the way it used to be at all vets! You always deal with the same Vet, except in exceptional circumstances and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The principal, Pat Kinch, is superb and there is no pushing for extra work. On one occasion I had to return after a couple of hours, because I misunderstood my dog’s reaction to an injection. The vet and staff stayed behind after normal closing time, to offer extra assistance at no extra charge.
